The shoulder looks a bit messed up (and the wrist). is this a rigging problem or the lowpoly messing up? technically: do you do the arms and head as submodels/attachements or is the whole character one mesh?

Very sexy weapon! I have to wonder how it holds up in a first person view though, what with those holes and other side details relying on the textures after not being modelled in. Crappy anisotropic filtering will fuck 'dat shit up yo.
JFletcher: thanks man. Well, it holds up okay :] I would say it depends mostly on how good the shaders are in the engine you put it in ^^ But yeah, the tricount is a bit...yeah, i dunno. It could be a 1rst person weapon, or i could just quickle pull it down a couple of thousand tris and itll be a 3rd person weapon instead ^^

Cool stuff in here as always Snef. I personally like helm number 3 minus the front mandible bits, also adding a little more detail to the line that separates the visor portion from the rear portion would nice.
Ah... ookay Updated the concepts a bit, should upload them, hmm... Yeah, im a bit torn between them, I think i might polish all of them up and then just build all of them as a set... what do you think?

Soo, i updated my site with some environments from bulletstorm. I have mostly been doing the meshing in these shots, also some lighting etc etc. some props. well. A bit of everything. Here goes.

So, gonna do a little scene in UDK i think. I made some modular rocks today anyway, not finished yet, need to do alot of trickery with them. Will update on that! Anyway, here they are, shot from UDK, i know there is a normal-bug on it, but yeah, i will fix!
Beautiful work on those Bulletstorm environments. I really love the Ivy in the first two, creates a nice contrast of colour and the overgrown look really sells it. Looking forward to seeing the environment you come up with.

side note - i dont know if its just my terrible vision or if its the colors in the image, but its looking a bit stereoscopic to me. as if im seeing double of each shot. the text too.

So, I started a little project, to see how far i could get in 40h of work (one week of fulltime work.) This is what i got sofar, after, eh... 14 hours. Also made lowpolys for all of them and some textures, but that will be another update ^^ Here are some wallmodules, floor, etc ^^
