Amazing. Any chance I can see the wireframe for the desk (http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4139/4931637082_5f5c118bc7.jpg). I'd love to be able to create those ornate metal swerves but can never seem to be able to pull it off. Any tips? Great work!

the image in the bottom left shows some of the modeling that contributed to that desk. The lowpoly has just a flat face in that spot.
Nice video! Can you de-interlace the video please? I still see some annoying line effects, it breaks all the mood.
It's not interlaced as far as I know. This is the output from matinee in Unreal. It was not edited using video editing software.
EDIT: after looking at his a few times I can see what you mean. It appears to be something youtube has done. I'll upload a copy to vimeo and see if that works any better.
looks awesome! BUT.. i am not a fan of the swinging goggles. that seems a bit "fake" to me for them to be going back n forth so smoothly and constantly like that. otherwise.. superb.
Fantastic work. This is going in an inspiration folder. Your high polys are amazing. Hopefully I can hit that level of quality in my next personal project or two.
Haven't seen the video yet but I saw the latest batch of screenshots...this is turning out amazing! The hi poly stuff at the beginning of the thread has some great detail. Nice job!
Love the ornate work on the models, I'm going to try a bit of that myself!... I thought much of that nice modelling looked lost on the still.... but the animated sequence really shows it off

it's 720p so should adequately show the detail in the environment.

That's just the regular unreal light shafts feature.

there's a light behind the window meshes which casts them.
