Thanks dude! I kinda overwrote the diffuse texture for this girl's body, setting me back about 5 hours of work, so I miiiiight just call it quits on her here and more on to bigger/better characters.
Your progress is pretty amazing man... Truly inspirational. Been following for a couple years now, and I can definitely say I am impressed. Keep it coming dude. Your 3D stuff is getting so much better!
Good start..But need to work more..The sketches looks like they need more perfection and more finishing...The second sketch is best than the other's:)
Do more practice:)!
Dear diary: Gilesruscoe teased me beacuse his sketchbook thread has got more pages than mine. That wasn't very nice! Today I called people racists on the internet and sculpted this guy.
Yeah, dig that face sculpt. Just need to tighten up the details to make it look less muddy and it'll be great!
Sketches are nice too. Any particular goal in mind for the new ones? Keep em coming?
Not much of my recent art is worth showing. I've been out of my routine, and the confidence in my drawings is down a lot, pretty rusty. Still learning at an ok rate though. Easing back into the routine, here are a couple of recent snippets from the last few weeks.
You've got some really cool stuff here. I like how much energy your sketches contain. I know how hard it can be to stay productive, don't give up!
One thing I'd like to mention is that the eyes (and sometimes other facial features) of your characters tend to drift a bit on the face when you draw them, (eg; the third picture in your last post) sometimes not aligning properly, being too far apart etc. Might help to throw down a few more construction lines when you begin.
Thanks dude. N D hill, thank you man, I dig your life studies a lot, saw you on another forum (sat soda maybe?) recently.
team abstract color ENGAGE. Everybody who hasn't should try this shit, capture the values of a study but go wild with the color. No adjustments or anything, just raw paint. Super educational.

Here's a bit.
yeah, wide eyes, im working on it. No patience for studies all the time, but i'm squeezing in remedial anatomy here and there gradually.
Do more practice:)!

Otherwise, great stuff.
