Hi everyone,
I am working on an environment piece at the moment and I am practicing modular pieces. I attached the gizmos in max to certain areas so it is easier to snap when rotating and such.
The worst part is when I bring everything into udk and trying placing the meshes in the room, the gizmo is so far away it is making my life hell, and that applies to every mesh...Any suggestions would really help!
(When I export from max, I leave it as it as and check the map coordinates and such)
Thanks

Doing 15 hours of excercise a week makes you forget things x.x

It resets scale and transform.
Applies reset Xform and collapses the stack to edit poly.
Moves the pivot point to the lowest center point of the mesh.
Then it moves the object to world 0, 0, 0.

To install:
Run the script from anywhere, it will show up under:
Customize > Customize UI > Category: RemiTools "RemiReset"
From there you can assign it a shortcut, a toolbar button, quad menu or menu item.
Here is a version that just sets the pivot point to the lowest center point and moves the model to world 0, 0, 0. In case you want to move the object and pivot point but don't want to reset all the back end stuff or mess with the stack.
