One other thing i've done recently is play The 5th Element in the background with the video track disabled in VLC player. Its not that distracting since i've watched to movie to death.
When working I tend to stick to Epic Music ( audiomachine, two steps from hell) , Movie Soundtrack / Scores (Hans Zimmer) or something like celldweller
Been on a Stephen King audiobook kick lately. If you like audiobooks, you ought to check out Mr. Mercedes and Doctor Sleep. The narrator does a great job!
