fired up the ol turntables and put this out this weekend. a mixture of deep/tech house, with some of montreals producers sprinkled in. if you like underground electronic shit, check it out.
Thank god some people don't jump on that big room awful trend.
Really dig your track man. Love the fashion mood. I can tell you this is the kind of track we hear here in Paris fashion stores.
Been on a bit of an Opeth kick lately. I was never really into them before but I've just recently come to realize what incredible artists they all are. They're one of the few groups I can think of who simply haven't put out a bad record yet.
Any other prog fans have recommendations for new stuff? Most of the bands I liked when first getting into prog metal have gone weak or moved on to different styles (Mastodon/Baroness/Cynic etc).
Funny enough, I recently discovered Wintersun. Time I is spectacular, one of those flawless albums that never gets old. I've also listened to several of DT's albums, he's got to be one of the greatest musicians of all time. Not all to my taste, but one has to appreciate his versatility as well as the mass amount of quality content he produces.
I'll check out Ne Obliviscaris. I hear violins, which is a good sign as I love the strings!
If you like Time I you should love Ne Obliviscaris. I'd rate Portal of I up with my favourite albums (Blackwater Park, Ghost Reveries, Still life...) which is stunning for a debut album. Storm Corrosion (collab between Akerfeldt & Steve Wilson) is an interesting album too that you might want to check out.
Not sure if there are any Atmosphere fans here but they just dropped a new album last week and I've been listening to that on loop since it dropped. ^.^
Definitely not their best ever, but certainly worth a listen if you're a fan!!

I'd highly recommend Ne Obliviscaris; their first ever album blew my mind:

And some other bands to check out: Devin Townsend Project, Dream Theater, Katatonia (Dead End Kings is a great album), and Wintersun.

Unrelated but your sculpts are excellent; is there anywhere I can see higher res shots than what is available in your portfolio?
