Well, As I've continued to work on... whatever projects, I've been listening to a lot of Legend of Zelda, Serious Sam, Quake, Viewtiful Joe, and Wreck-It Ralph music. Perhaps I should get to some more Splinter Cell and Rosario + Vampire tracks.
back in the mix! some retro sounding beats for a cool little dance party at your desk. makes the panties drop, trust me. Retro Dance Party Mix! - YouTube
That mix is fantastic, do you have a download/Soundcloud page by any chance?

thanks man I mostly just upload to youtube and beatport but am gonna start getting my stuff up on mixcloud/soundcloud soon, you can check out my channel and sub if you want, I only really upload mixes and not random vids. also here is my beatport profile:
Sadistik just released his new album Flowers For My Father. I;m absolutely loving the album, but this song specifically. I'm a huge fan of Cage's music, and Yes Alexander has one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard, especially on her tracks with Blue Sky Black Death.
If you're a fan of Frank Ocean and/or The Weeknd, you'll probably like Johnny. He sings similarly to them both, but with some of The Weeknd's subject matter mixed in.
I really love these guys! I just found them out a couple weeks ago and can't stop listening. They're possibly a tad bit too singy metal for me but I just can't stop listening! I love the heaviness contrasted with the singing chorus.
Also dont actually watch the video because metal videos are just so bad.
Does anyone know what genre of music these tracks would fall under. I'm looking for specific sub-genres mind. Dont just say techno. I think they are both quite similar and are probably in the same genre.
Stinger, there's somewhere in the range of 4 bazillion different electronic music genres. I can't give you anything specific, but I find this app pretty handy for working out which one is which http://techno.org/electronic-music-guide/
Click on the genres at the side and you'll be given a tree of sub genres, each with a little example track. For your tracks I'd probably leaning towards something around progressive house for the first and industrial-ish for the second.
The new Clutch is streaming here: http://www.pro-rock.com/
It's at a pretty tinny bit rate, but it's sounding great - more stripped back and rocky than the last few albums.
Zeca Baleiro. I need more Brazilian music. I can't listen to stuff where I understand the lyrics while I'm coding and I need more rythmn anyway... (because chinese music is terrible in that regard)
