@Ronin, I liked it much better when it wasn't covering his eyes. That one looks kind of ridiculous over his eyes like that. Every single hat doesn't need to be positioned that way on him.

Though if you do look every hat DOES cover his eyes in a slight bit so maybe you could tilt it in a way that it does slightly but not so much as you just did because that way is a bit comical.
I'm kind of pointing you that way because if you do want to contribute it the hat and keep it to the soldier it should stay with his theme which is having the hat shade/cover his eyes.

don't tilt the hat at all. it looks better not tilted. you're just gonna make it look bad just cos every other hat is tilted and its 'tradition' for the soldier to have a tilted hat? don't worry about the other hats. just make yours not tilted and it'll look good. what's so important that a hat has to be tilted for, anyways?

Its a day of the dead mask
By god, that mask... I instantly thought of the Grim Fandango. It's just absolutely perfect, by god. That's just amazing. Curious, does the mouth flap open and shut as the pyro runs forward? Not like a massive amount, but just jiggles up and down a little... that would be a very nice touch.
I didn't submit yet, I messed around with the skull and went back to using the old undetailed normal map and a brighter texture, while i'm at it, have some combos

IMO it looks perfect titled like that but you could also add the sunglasses with it to make it like the honcho. I think that is how that hat keeps with tradition and soldier theme.
Now equipped for the sniper. The Badge is based on the Royal Autralian Army Badge. (Rising Sun Badge) Altered it a bit to replace the crown with a sniper icon and there should be a text on those scrolls (Right now i'm thinking "Royal Australian Mercs".) Right now i'm open to suggestions on the text.

*Uses the same UV's and half the texture of the other garrison cap
*799 triangles total.
*Team color reds are used.
Changed the badge color to Australium Gold and added some text that would surely be virtually invisible in combat but added anyway because i had time to kill. Also added a shot of the texture map for those wondering how the detailing is done. This hat should be be ready by now for exporting in the game when i get home from work.
So I think I'm finished with the model I've been working on of Sharc's design, but I've got a problem. My computer broke a while back and shades of colors don't transition so smoothly on my computer, and my resolution is permanently stuck at a non-widescreen one, so things look stretched slightly.
Please let me know what you think and if it needs to be improved. If the textures look odd, then I attribute that to the above or my inexperience.

So I decided to make a pack around the motorcycle themed medigun I started for my last pack that didn't fit. I did a lot of work this weekend I am looking for any input.
-The gun I cant decide to do a single shot, giant horse tranquilizer, giant gun, or giant syringe inspired one that could still fire bullets.
-The hat is a brain pan with a pair of riding goggles on them.
-the melee weapon is a tire iron with a scalpel duct taped to it.
still working on names.
Heavy badge updated. With careful thought and advice from friends, I decided to take out the hammer & sickle and replace it with the heavy badge instead since that communist logo is still banned from other places. It would have been great but i dont want to touch on sensitivities right now. Finished the texture on the badge and it should be ready to export in TF2 later today. Now its off to make the scout's or pyro's garrison cap. Time to roll the dice!

After seeing that the iron curtain hat the hammer & sickle on it, there is no reason for me to not use it anymore. Opened the back-up file and incorporated the texturing i just made on the other version. Quick work that turned out decently.

Good job on the sailor hat. I propose to make it slightly shorter. Right now it seems a bit too tall. Overall great and solid hat. Love the emblem.

pyro version of the garrison. Feedback is welcome as always.
The uneven spacing on the middlemost bars makes the pyro look like he's got some kinda slanty asian stereotype eyes.
Is this the inspiration for the item?
I'm also gonna do his tin axe, a scarecrow hat for a certain stupid class and a severed lion head for a certain heavy class.
If anyone wants to model these feel free, I'm not into the modeling side of things yet.
