sweet work man!
i remember back when i was in school(around 06-07) i think i emailed you about wanting to model that Falco sketch you did once...it didn't turn out that great since i was new to modeling back then haha
unbelievable work. the dragon man sketches back a ways are incredibly well done, i am working on sculpting one now, and your handling of the scales is an invaluable influence.:thumbup:
There is nothing in this thread I am not in art-love with. Seriously awesome stuff man, all of it. Bookmarked for inspiration and just seeing how great art can be, love the mature fairytale-esque feel about your anthropomorphic works as well, and your humans and environments are incredible. Really looking forward to seeing more man
wow dude! awesome stuff! I think you and i worked together on a half life 2 mod that never made it out, a few years back. I know its you because its the same style and the fox like creatures. Anyway, nice to see your growth!!! Got your thread bookmarked!
Skamberin: Hey, thanks man! I'm glad that the lizard-guys and the fuzzy critters are going a good direction. You'll see plenty more.
conte: NEVER
Sectaurs: Those pants were an atrocity, but I'm glad you liked the concept
raul: Hey man! Which mod? Was that Wretched Abandon or Mercury Sky? I think it was the latter, but dang that was a while ago. Glad to see you around, and it's freaking awesome to see you're working for id, now! BMed your page!
Allan-p: I think he was from a mod a bit earlier, Mercury Sky. It was a sort of mutant zombie vs gasmask soldiers mod. Don't know what ever happened to it...
Zack Fowler: Ah, thanks. At times I think I overwork my brush strokes, but I've been really pushing just getting it down right the first time. Oh, and excellent
I know I'm at risk of sounding effusive, but I really enjoyed your progression on the hooded woman concept-- you started with a pretty solid piece, then declared to the world that "good is not good enough!" and rocketed into outer space with the next three pieces.
Makkon, is back, thanks sir for being an inspiration. (+
That fox/cat character is just amazing, i always look for it in your drawings and paintings, love it, keep pushing that character
wake: I had to look up what effusive meant Thanks man, I really ought to do it more often. Things get exponentially better when done over several times, I spose.
^Á^: Thank you! I'll see where this little guy goes, I'd like to model him when I get a new computer.
Two Listen: I'll take that as a compliment though I am pretty religious...
Neolight: Thanks, man! To be honest, I've not been very consistent. Each particular painting can take anywhere from 30mins to an hour, and I'll maybe do 2 in one sitting if I have time. Back in the day, when I had no job or school to worry about, I'd go from sun up to sun down without ever stopping. Good times.
Bounchfix: Hope to have more, thanks bro!
wizo: Pancakes make me gag... Thanks!
After work I've got it on my schedule to take pics of my sketchbook pieces. Don't let me forget!
I love how stylized many of your drawings are, especially with the invented creatures, its really amazing. Its also great to see SO MUCH work from a long period of time all packed together as one.
Ah, crud. Bandwidth exceeded again. I was going to upload some more but... now I can't.
Any suggestions on another image hosting site? This is getting a little annoying. Some have suggested deviantart and dropbox, I'm just wondering what my options are.
DKK: Yo!
Two Listen: Ahaha, thanks man! that's really flattering, actually.
SimonT: Thanks bro! I'll go check your sketchbook out. As for tutorials, I'm not good at those. But I'll try to offer some tips where I can.
shotgunz: Haha, thanks man!
SSquir33: He was my favorite dwarf
Neolight: I had a friend who wrote up some brilliant backstory some time ago, I'll keep looking for it :O
itismario: Thanks, man!
corv: Man, that sounds like a lot of work. How would you set that up?
dropbox, dude! hasn't let me down yet, plus you can use it for other stuff as well. really nice in built in viewer too if ya need to show stuff off. honestly I use it for a lot more than art on a daily basis (since you can have a 'local' folder on your HD that will auto-upload to the site)
here's my referral link if you choose to give dropbox a shot - it'll give you and me both an extra 250mb:

Edit: didn't see the second page, amazing paintings too!
EDIT TWO= and the coolest furries everrrrrrr!
Funky Bunnies: Heh, thanks. I promised a 2-year art-dump after all
Rens: I smell porkchops. Is that what badass smells like?
^Á^: I'll have to do a digi sketch of one of them some time, you aren't the only one who's asked that
conte: That's a good idea, for now it's for a school assignment, but I'd love to see it go further.
Ravenslayer: Thank you!
sampson: I wish it came easily, I rack my brain over it sometimes. And she loved the paintings!
Rayph: I know what you mean, it's great seeing everyone grow. We should do a collab some time, that'd be sweet
ebagg: Haha, thanks! Glad you even liked the 'animal people' (not fond of the term "furries")
Here's some stuff from my school sketchbook, including figure drawings. First time I've ever posted figure drawings...
Great studies man! There's a lot of vitality in your line work. Very inspiring.
13 looks a bit overly thing in the body, could be she was at an angle but that didn't come out in the shading.
BTW 14 is already down

woogity: That is very flattering, I'm gitty-excited to see that progress! Do you have a thread up now?

keep up the awesome work!
Update for now, I'll take some pics of my sketchbook maybe tomorrow.
[EDIT reuploaded in other posts]
How much time do you spend on your personal work each day? Is there any kind of study routine that you keep up?
Bounchfix: Hope to have more, thanks bro!
wizo: Pancakes make me gag... Thanks!

Thanks a lot for posting your stuff. You added roughly an extra 30% to my reference and inspiration folder.
It would be great if you could do a timelapse of your pencil sketches!
