This is based off an insanely good zbrush sculpt by my friend DrillerKiller. I had no idea how to use Zbrush when I did this and still don't have much experience using it for character stuff but i'm trying.

Experimenting with a damage state and some kind of bad/weird textural approach, looked at a few references for a mortar shell and did this.

Here's my first attempt at a human body. Spent a few hours doing this stylized lady. I started without reference, then later got some reference and here's the result so far.

Reworked the body. Kept what I felt worked and fixed some overall proportions: made the mid section shorter, as she felt too "gazelle" like! Added some hands, boots, created some eye sockets and popped in some spheres for eyes. Just a bit more polishing on the face, hair and a few tweaks left.

Just bought a new vidaya card, can now get mudbox sculpts up to 16 million. Good timing too, as I've finalized my concept in Sculptris for my "Style Stewardess."

Retopo for the first time is up next.

Like your style man. Classsy. Try spend an extra hour or two polishing the alien head ? Its great now but its all medium and large range detail.

Thanks Mishin & OverMarvelous, yeah I've just been focusing on the large and medium forms for now to ensure that the character has a villainous appearance and has a character to him. More to come, he needs a body first. I'm working in Sculptris, so high frequency details will be done later on in (zbrush/mudbox).

I've just been refining the features. You won't be able to tell much difference other than the shader IMO. Thought i'd post anyways.



He definitely is a butler-type character ala David 8 from Prometheus.

Hey all, I've been swamped with work for the past while. This update is long overdue, glad to be back at it.

I'm still working on the legs.
Changed a few large proportions in the body, made him beefier.

Brought this thing back from the graveyard. Few clay renders. Still plenty to do, and I can't wait to do a NEW piece...thought it'd be a good idea to finish this off even if it's a few years old.

If anyone has this model of Nail Gun (BN200A) kicking around in their garage. I'd love you long time
to snap some high res pics of it from various angles. Ref on the internet is pretty low res.
