I did join back in 2002 , back when the boards had some blue and red in there, I was only posting skins for UT models though I reckon, with some dabbling in Milkshape lol. Think I joined here not long after I'd got some hosting with Lawgiver @ Identity Crisis @ PU.
Back when I was a mod artist working on Q3Fortress, I was invited to come visit id with the rest of the mod team. Who did I meet there? ... Ken Scott and ALPHwolf!!! I was so star stricken!
Technically I joined before the move... I just wasn't very chatty, and didn't re-join until a few months later. Mostly because I couldn't find the place.
I remember that one model that DH, Malengine, Shotgun, and Skullbox were involved in. It was like a necrotic quadruped or something, and Skullbox was cranking some serious anims out for that thing. One of the bigger SDK's from back in the day if I recall, before the Hyper Moleman thing.
Just about to find out when my join date was...I bet its after October....when I finally gave in to Rawkstars requests that I really should join this forum .

Magdalena I think is what you're thinking of. I remember Skullbox talking about how doing the huge anim set that UT2kX had was a pain.
Effigy was the biped thing that came before around the same time as it.
skullbox's effigy and magdalena collabs with DH came way after magarnigal's original magdalena for q3, still when me dh and per were all noobs (well, some of us still r) (and still dh owns us all).
ogro fix was also on this team, as well as david king and ... deranged. and glenn. as ogro fix was the first q3 skinner here afaik (i think he beat ror to it didnt he?) he must have a pedestal.
originally i thought alpha was drunk and mumbled something about internal future plans for polycount, where these old names all appear in its new form. wasup with dat anyways
oh, magarnigal has been last seen making animations for assie TV, he told me he really enjoys it and has no intentions of doing game art again. o well. that guy was the coolest animator i've seen. hehe i remember those boobs animation he posted... jiggly jigg!
Magarnigal was in an animation tournament called 'Awkward Moments'. He animated a Drunk alien trying to take a piss.. He was a funny guy... Think he even won that contest
