Btw. whatever happened to the guy who modeled gargoyles in Milkshape (or was it Blender?) back in the day - anyone know? I recall seeing him on the boards for aeons. Never any progress.
There was also an early poster named Austin - but written in L337speak - and another one who must have been called Rockstar or Pornstar (not to be confused with the one called rawkstar) or similar. They did likenesses early on. I recall several Matrix ones, an Angelina Jolie and a Russell Crowe as Gladiator one (when that movie was fresh .... ). Impressed me quite a bit back then.

@Betlog : Frankly it was all terrible when we started. Remember when we had to copy the model, flatten out the verts manually, planar map that, then morph it back into it's correct shape?
Now I feel like I press a button and impossible shapes UV themselves while angels sing to me and serve me ambrosia, the tools have advanced. I do miss some of the old #model_design days though, I hope you're all doing well.
