well its a bit late,as I first played the game in 2003, but finally I finished it. did it in about 3 days on and off.
noticed kevin johnstone did the character work)
bit disappointing overall, the textures sooooo low res, even on highest settings.
I might play some more old games now as I can't even install gears of war.

lol! I didn't play unreal 2, my first taste of unreal was unreal tournament and I remember thinking how sweet that looked.
If your going to install more old games might as well pop in deus ex
so I missed out on a lot of fun
Man I remember when I thought dues ex looked awesome for it's time. My how the times have changed
Oh and... Moonbase Commander! I doubt you can find in anywhere now tho...
>>>Deus EX<<<<
Theif 1&2
HalfLife 1
Grim Fandango
Fallout 2
...do it!
Is MDK any good?
(holyshititsfasterthanIremember)
Well I guess that's up to you to decide your own opinion - but I found it quite boring. Then again, I think I only played MDK 2. Maybe 1 is better?
If you haven't played KOTOR - or haven't played it in a while - that's definately my #1 recommendation. I played it when it first came out, but replayed it a couple weeks ago and I think it was probably just as enjoyable now as it was then.
(that's Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, btw)
Blurry textures are blurry.
KOTOR 1 = bestestest 3d crpg ever. Dunno if Mass Effect comes close.
That said, has anyone mentioned Baldur's Gate 2? Bestestestest crpg of all time. Hope Dragon Age will be half as good, gameplay wise.
/edit oh, and Unreal (the first one) was pretty damn good, I remember being dumbstruck the first time I stepped out of the spacecraft in the beggining and you see the environment and shit, I was like "0_0" with a slack jaw and everything.
umm, system shock 2, deus ex (have to play it, best game evah), theif 1+2... seconding oni as well, wish it'd work on my new comp ;_;
also operation flashpoint and cod 2, but they might be a little too new :P
how about this then;
what can change the nature of a man.
They don't make games like this anymore

Holy crap I forgot about that game - that thing was WAY fun.
I just finally polished off Fallout2 - highly recommended
And MDK2 is way fun for an older game

Pretty much every game listed is fantastic. NOLF, Oni, Giants,
Shogo was pretty cool. If you can find a copy of Grim Fandango give that a twirl (tim shaeffer at his best), then there was my life sucker Diablo 2 (which still has a pretty decent online community after all these years).
Carnauba wax (the paste stuff you use on a car) will usually bring a scratched disc back to life - smear it on, let it dry, buff it off and your good to go!
Was frakin awesome!
Prolly gonna go out and buy this gem: Machine Hunter.
(or was it 8 to 16, i cant remember it was a long time ago, but it was a big deal back then haha)
what? BLASPHEMY
soo many PC games to play still
I did play a lot of 3d platformers. loved jak and daxter series and stuff like rayman and other games like the getaway which I have still to finish:)
Anyways, I've been playing some good old classic Doom (1) on the last few days, jebus the memories! so awesome...
