Evening. Maya artist for broadcasting here, with an occasional project for games - mostly way older than I should be monkeying with - and looking to start with Unity and other more modern engines.
I am new at the whole game development stuff and trying to learn everything from scratch! I am currently (since 8 years now) a 3d-modeller for the car-industry but always wanted to sneak in game development. FOr instance, I´am planning a small game with a friend of mine which will be achieve using Cinema4d, Substance and Ue4. I love this forum, it gives me a lot of inspiration and hope to be part of it soon! I will post stuff of this actual project as soon I am a little bit more confident in every aspect of development!
Hey. I'm an amateur modeller who used to do things for WarCraft III (mostly using Milkshape and fan-made tools), and am currently trying to transition into Dota 2 work. I'm interested in learning from this obviously talented community and sharing whatever progress I make.
Hello everybody! I'm not sure if I should present myself here or leave to another thread. I'm just a designer from Brazil who is trying to get what it takes to become a full time concept artist and illustrator. \o/
Hi everyone!
Im a full time newbie at the world of game development. Im planning on starting my studies for it though as a technical artist at Blekinge Technical University in Sweden if everything goes as planned. I thought it would be a good idea to start off by seeing how it works in reality here on Polycount where I have heard people post all their cool models and get great feedback!
I've been on looking around the forum for a while now - so I thought I would get involved in saying hello, trying to help out and get some help myself!
Hey everybody. Aspiring game developer/3D artist here. Stumbled into this forum by accident, and it seemed right up my alley. I started my 3D journey in Blender, then started learning Unity. Then I found my true love lol, Unreal engine. I'm still pretty much a newb, but try to learn more every day. Cool to find more peeps on similar journeys.

In our free time, we play way too much DOTA2. Hence our idea to create an article on some homemade data, do not hesitate to give some feedback on our twitter or facebook!
