Hello, I am a Games Art student looking to improve my skills and get help for those sticky software problems. I hope I will get to chat with a load of interesting and skilled people.
hey there, I'm just getting into 3D modelling, so I'll be lurking the forums more than I will be posting anything; thanks for actually existing! I feel like there will be a lot to learn from and inspire me here
Howdy howdy howdy. I am a programmer and I love video games. I'm trying to learn the UDK and I've heard a lot of praise about these forums. I look forward to our exchange of knowledge.
Hello Polycount! I'm an (exceedingly) amateur game designer, experienced in the Source engine and learning to model with Blender. Look forward to learning some things here.
My name is Marshall and I've been going to college to better acquaint myself with animating/modeling software such as 3ds Max. I've also self taught myself for like last couple of years but still very much a noob! I hope I can get some feedback on some of my work here!
Hello,
My name is Jason and I am currently a Game Art student. I have been referred to this site by quite a few different people so I decided to check it out and I like what I see so I decided to participate!
I have been lurking on this fantastic site for a long time now and thought it was about time I got involved! I am constantly inspired by the work I see here and have already learnt a lot here, I hope I can give something back.
Good afternoon! I've been back and forth across the spectrum for game-making over the last ten years or so, from art to writing to production, and I think my team and I are finally ready to try something bigger.
It's nice to meet you all, and here's to many successful projects for everyone!:santa::thumbup:
Hello! A colleague told me about this place. He said it's a good resource for problem-solving, including with code.
As a side-note, almost all of the links in the first post on this thread, the one explaining the rules, are broken. The only ones that work are "What Are You Working On" and the jobs posting trio. It looks like y'all rearranged where the forums were located, and some of the links were overlooked.
I'm a student at Staffordshire University studying VFX & Concept Design. I have only recently been made aware of this forum, I look forward to begin a part of your community and hopefully getting in on some of those design competitions on the side of my course.
I'm more of a 3D guy and I am currently dabbling in the cry engine in my free time.
Came across this forum from some image board...had a look around and the work on here looks awesome! Also the critique people give on work seems a lot more constructive than other sites I've been on, I look forward to posting my work!
Hey. I'm making my debut post here yay. I am a guy who loves modelling, and have used Sketch-Up for years, but now I'm trying to learn Blender. I want to design video games someday. I hope I can share my work with you all, and see yours as well

I'm an aspiring modeler who has next to no real experience, thought I'd take a peak around, and see if this is a hobby for me!
