Hello everyone. I'm just starting out in the game industry and I'm looking for general ways to improve my skills as an artist, and possibly seek out some feedback on what I'm learning. My focus is environment art, primarily plants and landscapes and setting a scene to look interesting.
Hello,
My name's Diana and I'm joining Polycount because I'd like to learn to learn all this magnificent 3D stuff you people make. I currently work in Graphic Design so basically I'd do this just to learn something new and as a hobby.
I'm not exactly a newbie, but there's still a lot of stuff to learn and I'm hoping to find nice people to teach me
Hello all,
I'm a Budapest based concept artist, illustrator and dtp designer. I join here to learn more about my job, and share some experience. Take care!
Hello Polycount Community! My name is Kenneth. I was referred here by a friend and I am happy I came. I am a student in 3D modeling and interactive medias, and this site is a great way to grow and learn in the craft. i have been able to scan many threads and learn new techniques and how to take critique and learn from it. Thanks!
Hi everyone. I guess i'm supposed to post here for my first post?
I'm an art student hoping to continue my learning in my free time and maybe make a few connections with fellow artists who can help me reach my full potential.
Always open to talking, helping if i can, and learning whatever I can.
Hello there! I'm new to modeling and looking to improve both my drawing and modeling, Polycount seemed like a fantastic place where I can talk to people that are both new and old to the craft and I look forward to working with people here, and potentially find work.
I've been visiting this site from time to time for the past couple of years but only started to see how much i rely on posts about other people's experiences when i started working on my first ever 3D project (an item submission to the DotA2 workshop). It only makes sense for me to register to the site myself and hopefully receive feedback on my projects and also give feedback to others.
I have only started 3D art less than a year ago, but i am "relatively speaking" skilled enough in 2D art to be able to give feedback to others. I am self-thought in the art department however i do study design and might be able to help others with what i learn.
Thank you PolyCount community, even though i am not a member yet, you have already helped me quite a ton in my projects.
