Hello, i am going to study 3D in Canada. My friends suggested me to create a polycount account. Now it's done and i am excited to join the community !!
Hey hey, a fledgling 3D artist here looking to gain some experience and knowledge here on the Polycount forums! Been lurking this place for a while and decided it was finally time to register up!
Hello Polycount,
I'm still an intermediate-level student when it comes to 3D art, and I'm hoping that I can change that by sticking around for a while.
I wish anti-spam safety measures were less delay-inducing, I miss the days when I could just register and ask questions/start discussions without having to jump through bunches of hoops and wait days or hours to be validated as a human being.
Hey! Just started modeling for the DOTA2 workshop and my first item is about 99% complete after four solid days of work! It's not amazing but i'll be happy just to submit it.
debating the first image I should use to introduce myself to the Polycount community, do I focus on modeling? Maybe I could show off some FX work?
Possibly a nice 2d compositing piece? Nahh lets just start with some breakfast... Anyone for toast?
I have been modeling, sculpting and generally making a mess with everything even remotely artistic, crafty, or downright weird for most of my life.
In 1998 I got my first degree in CG.
Joined the army in '05 spent some time working with other Soldiers did some nice graphic design for various units.
In '09 I left the military and got my second CG degree.. now I am just doing whatever projects come my way.
looking forward to working, playing, and learning from all of you...
Hi everyone,
I'm a game art student looking to be a character artist. Mostly focusing on sculpting/Zbrush but I would like to acquire some solid modeling skills as well : )
