Hello. I'm a newbie trying to learn Maya. I have used 3DSM in the past (some years ago now) that I stopped progressing with as I was young and didn't learn it properly. This time I'm intent to learn Maya the 'proper' way.
Hello Polycount forum, I did some 3d work for film and now I want to learn some great stuff for 3d videogames here.
I hope someday help another people too.
I use maya with mac, it´s good for this type of work?
well, i think it´s better i find it in another thread, hehe
I'm a student in applied computer science.
Yeah I know, that doesn't sound like an artist... but I'm focused on game technology and virtual reality, so this forum is a good way to get connected with other people, who are interested in making games too ;-)
I am an illustrator and have only basic knowledge in modeling, but am willing to learn and improve. My 3D programs of choice are 3DSM with a little Blender/Wings3D on the side.
Hello Polycount! Looking forward to posting some 3d art sometime. Check out my blog if you like to see some 2d work of mine. This is a great community and I'm looking forward to contributing to it. Take care.
I am a professional boring server developer and an amateur 3D programmer. Though I've known about Polycount for quite a while it's SimonT's wonderful blog about graphical game tricks that finally drove me to register here. I'm looking forward to being a tiny part of the community!
Hello all! I'm a current 3D professional developing training and simulation software and virtual training for the FAA and Army. I'm also currently attending Full Sail University and am double majoring in Computer Animation and Game Art. I look forward to having this community as a resource for years to come!
Putting my first post for this username here. I'm working with graphite, charcoal, with a little pasteling right now. If those interest you there's the option of sketchbook sharing via the messaging program or when i get to a scanner I can make a sketchbook post. Thanks.
I am John Thomas from Philippines. I got here because I read your posts very interesting. I've search your site through Google.com. And I found it there. So glad to be here! Thanks
Hi everyone, my name is Cooper Bates. I am currently studying video game art at Full Sail University. I am looking forward to sharing and learning here on the polycount forums.
Hi, I'm not new here but my first account was made ages ago, and I just got tired of it. I've been working in 3d for about two years now, but just starting to learn how to make low poly and texturing for games :P
I guess it is time for an introduction for activation. My name is Allen, and I am a game art student in San Diego! I have always lurked and now interested in Posting.
Hi I'm a UK University student studying Games Art. I love doing 3d and 2d art and would like to be part of the Polycount community to show as well as to help / critique people's work and see them improve. I also enjoy seeing everyone's work and will be a source of motivation for me.
