Man...I know the demo was pretty rough...but it looks like a fun to play with that new controller, hopefully they'll do some cool little PSN games for it.
well it was not the bug fest that natal was, i dont really like the whole motion control crap, i love sitting on my ass.. but microsoft dint even come close to showing real applictions that you could actually make a game around, they just showed buggy exploding ik and fake videos.

Yeah I agree...
I've never used the Wii...does it have depth as well like this PS3 control?
I read somewhere...dunno where, that for the 360 Natal, since it's your body as the control...it probably wont detect a lot of hand motions in front of your body, that's why they kept swinging their arms out to rotate through the menus. Anyways...what I'm trying to say here is that I have high hopes for the PS3 dildo controller.
now THAT looks fun as hell. Growing up playing FZero, my brother and I always talked about how cool it'd be to have that kinda control over making your own tracks.

You know what's kind of weird? Three years ago, neither the 360 Natal or this PS3-mote would have had any chance of mainstream acceptance or developer support. They would just end up as Eye-Toy also-rans.
But because of the success that Nintendo has had pushing the Wii, both of these peripherals actually stand a decent chance of gaining enough market penetration to be viable for years to come. I would postulate that Guitar Hero and the rythm genre can also be credited with beginning a greater acceptance among consumers for additional peripherals. Exciting times.
I always hated God Of War, so somebody wanna tell me why the skeletons bleed more than anything when they explode...? Or are they related to Bones from Q3A?

that's where blood gets made dummy!
for your health!
I'm being deadly seriously now and I'll not change what people think, but you guys actually think GOW3 looks... Good...? That looks boring as fuck to me?

I wasn't a big fan of GOW until I finally got GOW2 after it went to greatest hits. I always thought it was just a generic action game, but it really is a lot more. Its not that it's doing anything new or breaking new ground, its just damn good at what it does and is a hell of a lot of fun to play.

I gatta say that I wasn't a fan, never played any of them...and I don't like button smashers...but I dunno, I'm definitely picking this up...it looked hella fun to me. Probably all the blood and ripping of horns, lol.
Gotta agree with ya odium, GoW looked pretty dull to me. Just not my thing I guess. The last guardian looked way better in the updagted trailer though, looking forward to that. The kid still looks terrible though, hope they work on that.
The motion controller was pretty impressive as well. I'm not much for motion control stuff still, not convinced by either the Natel or PS3's yet, but both look to have potential if they're used for good games. :P
Lol, I'm just glad that it looks better than the Natal in my opinion.I saw 360's conference and was like "damn...it's ganna be hard to top this..." (cuz I'm a ps3 fanboy/whore) But I like how they had more things to demo than the 360's painting thing.
Last Guardian, GOW3 and Uncharted 2 looks great, but everything else fell flat; A new overpriced PSP that will get destroyed by the DS and a motion controller that's already obsolete compared to Natal. And 8.5 million users using home? I bet a lot of those numbers are of people who tried it then uninstalled it, like myself. Ugh! Come on Sony
I actually don't think MS or Sony won this year. I think both had flops and both had huge shows. I think bang per buck MS won, IMO, simply because they had more crowd pleasing things in ratio to shit things (Compared to Sony have 1 good, 19 bad for example).
The only thing I know for sure is Nintendo failed. BADLY. Again.

Yeah no kidding. It saddens me actually, because I WANT an excuse to support Nintendo, but just can't find one. Punch Out so far is the only game that I felt I just had to play.

Yeah, I can't see Nintendo really pushing much more beyond what they've already done. I do think MS won, they clearly smack everyone down with online gaming and services and the game line-up is impressive. Sony's got 3 titles that look great, but they have such a low software attachment rate for the PS3 and we don't know when the next wave of titles are expected to ship. Wish they had announced a price drop.
I think that god of war will be much more fun to play than watch. God of War 2 still has some of the most fun boss battles ive ever played (except for Zeus, that wasnt much fun).

By the way GOW3 comes in a close second!
