Yeah Raven is taking us as well. Can't wait. Hopefully this wont be a let down like Wolverine was.
Oh man wolverine was a let down... well hopefully this won't be.
Touchy ground rebooting Star Trek.
I'm kind of tossed on the trailers so far. I'm getting tired of the hero running from a big ugly only to have the big ugly eaten by something that gets eaten by something that gets crushed in some way. Later the Hero (who survived by luck alone) is praised and legends are seeded.
Looking forward to it, but probably won't catch it on the big screen, much less the big big screen.
Yeah, that part of the trailer bothered me. They did that in Star Wars Episode 1, and it actually made me kring (there's always a bigger fish). Is there something wrong with the danger of the first creature? We needed a bigger creature?
Anyway, I won't let one crap scene kill a movie for me
I was thinking Friday would be bad/crowded. Thursday would be all the hardcore Trekkies. So Saturday Evening or Sunday Morning? (For those interested in Seattle).
Sunday at 10:30AM (Probably want to be there at 9 not to get stuck in a nose bleeder).
Movie was awesome! It was way better than I thought it would be, plus IMAX made it that much better. Kinda got lost with the characters, but I haven't really watched much Star Trek. The only thing I didn't really like was Winona Ryder, but that's just for personal reasons. Can't wait for the next one!
And yes, as soon as we saw him head for the ice cave, the whole company started giggling as we all thought the exact same thing (Luke stuck in the ceiling).
Also, while that big red squid monster was pretty awe. . . mazing (I didn't say it!), it was funny how little fire it takes to scare it off.

Just thought I'd gloat.
how cool is that?! Yea really looking forward to this one, I've heard tale that this movie is Star Trek II the Wrath of Khan good.
Looks pretty cool. I'm not a Star Trek fan, but I am a J.J. Abrams fan. I'm optimistic, at least.
Oh come on! That last trailer is just epic!

The movie was pretty awesome!
I kept thinking of Chekov and Sulu as Charlie Bartlett and Harold Lee though. But that's not entirely a bad thing.
Seriously felt like I had to shield my eyes for half the movie lol.
sorry, i haven't seen star trek yet. Just wanted to point that out on the modern public internet.
No problem, It hates you too...
