however, i know you'll don't like it... we decided to fix the last few hard bugs before going really public, i hope you don't mind, and well if you do... I DON'T CARE haha!
we have right now 6 bugs to fix, the minority are showbreakers but as they are showbreakes i think its better to fix them, we had to release for msuc and if you want to download it you can but be assured that the fixes definitely will do you a favor
This is SOO cool guys, I hope someday we will all be able to play this bad boy. Hell I'd even settle for just being able to walk around and drool over all the art!

the graphical bugs are now solved, so we ait till our coder has done the mean scripting bugs, if you you want this to be faster, go to splashdamage, stop them from working on brink so he has the time to do it :P
@thatdon: besides one quest thats pretty much all you can do right now but if thats enough, feel free to alk around and drool :P
and as i cannot speedup the bugfixing and therefore shorten the waiting time i do what i can do... post nice images

there are link files in the rar just exchange the UT root in them to make it your UT3 folder then it should run
starting from editor doesn't give you the right resolution we tweaked everything in, also if you can use a xbox controller, its way more polished then the keyboard controls
apparently you need a CD in the drive at all to change the target of the shortcut. I got it loading via shortcut but while it loads it says it can't find map DM-001 and defaults to empty UT room :*(

I think its not that very bad that its the 001 map that gets loaded, what was eye catching for me are the train and the whale that are missing and the screens with the controls at the start.
I had the same problem bounchfx, putting everything in the UT3 install folder made it work.
If you did everything right, you should have a UT3 Icon also saying "Unreal Tournament 3" but the Status should be "Shortcut - ready" (unlike your true UT3 link which should say something like "100% - ready")
now right click this shortcut and choose "properties"
assuming you've installed your Steam in "C:\Program Files\" your Airborn shortcut has to be as follows:
you don't start the mod as the mod, you start it as UT3, copy the airborn folder into your UT root, change the link we put into the package so it has your UT root in it and not ours and thats it, run the mod. however change dm-001 in that link to dm-000 works better
copy the map "Airborn" from the rar to (in my case) C:/Program Files/Unreal Tournament 3/UTGame/Unpublished
then open up the properties of the Airborn link, and change it into(in my case): "C:\Program Files\Unreal Tournament 3\Binaries\UT3.exe" DM-000?game=Airborn.Airborn -windowed -resx=1280 -resy=720 -log -ConsolePosX=0 -ConsolePosY=0 -useunpublished -mod=..\Airborn
hmmm I cant seem to change the path of the shortcut, also, rightclicking on it seems to hitch for like 20 seconds before opening the rightclick menu. I tried opening it in the editor but for some reason all the texture links on the world geo seem to be beorken and its go defualt checker on it. Peeped the character and plane models and they look awesome, I reeeealy wanna try this out!
hmm i dunno, I just dragged it from the rar to my desktop (the shortcuts) and put the airborn folder in my ut root, also tried it in the utgame/unpublished like elementrix said. any time i try to change the shortcut paths it says its invalid. could it be cause im using xp 64bt and UT3 is installed to program files (x86)?

Games Menu --> click "Add a non Steam Game to your games list"
choose "browse..." now navigate to your UT3 folder within Steam:
usually something like:
"C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\common\unreal tournament 3\Binaries"
and select UT3.exe
