LATEST UPDATE:
I think I'll go with a Demon Lord, though I don't really have any ideas yet so I'm keeping my options open.
Planning to do many thumbs, so I'm starting off simple. Please tell me which one interest you the most or if anyone interest you at all. I'll make a new batch then.

Awesome thumbs you have thar.
Number 9 is also a good one I agree. All around strong silhouettes. Keep doing more and exploring possibilities.
I think I will choose the element darkness for my demon lord and make him/it some kind of warriorpriest or prophet which turns weaker minded enemies to it's side through fear or false promises.
I like B1 the most. What do you think? The staff he's holding is a chainsaw btw.
I dunno, I think some of your original batch of thumbs looked more interesting!
Damn, googled and it is a staff. I've only seen a closeup of him holding it and there it apeared more as a sword.
Anyways, you're right anyway. Was sketching further on B1 this evening/night. Playing around with ideas. Having a hard time coming up with some kind of armor/dress combination to make him look like a fancy spiritual leader who's still is fit for battle. Must not forget that he will be huge so I'm planning to have quite lots of details sticking out in rows like in gothic architecture, once I got the main shapes down.
Any ideas/suggestion is very welcome!
Don't know what to do with the weapon.
I think you should lose the chainsaw staff though. Anything chainsaw is so gearsy now. It could be a blade with a wicked design and it might be visually more impressive anyways.
If you feel this idea is getting stale, best to try something new until you feel a good connection to one of them.
He's a manipulative spiritual leader who gather a horde of followers who fight for him, so he posses powers that manipulate the mind.
Perhaps I should give him a weapon that functions as an instrument as well?
Tumerboy: Would that be the weapon perhaps? :P
Konstruct: Thanks for the tip, I'll keep that in mind.
Kite: Yeah, I'll have to do some sketching on the organ. You might be on to something about those arms. Might be a bit problematic, but the general idea about extra mechanics sounds interesting.
Keen: Thanks!
Jackablade: Yeah, I will have to do some concepts of the organ design. Not sure if I want it to look like the classic ones, since they're kinda boxy I think but some fancy details wouldn't hurt.
Thanks for the replys guys! I'll see what I can come up with.
heh, ok, my Scottish heritage makes me bias.
hieronymus bosch used many bagpipes in his paintings, it would be interesting to take it in his bizzare style.
Okay, made some more work on the character and some weapon/instrument thumbs. He's becoming more a musician than a priest but I guess it's for the better. It still fits his power of manipulation. He uses his music to motivate his followers to do evil deeds.
On second thought I think I'll scrap the i3 and i4 right away since it would be strange to combine one air driven instrument with another, or at least it wouldn't make that great music.
i1: Banjo + Morningstarsomething
i2: Guitar + Axe
i3: Saxophone + Spear
i4: Flute + Maze
Perhaps I should make drums on his back instead, or both?
For the organ I was thinking two directions; the sackpipe style with the engine visible or the more classic decorated style?
No worries dude, he's your guy, you're the AD here!
Glad to see some progress. IMO, guitar/axe has been done before! it's too easy! but banjo/mace! that put a smile on my face!
I'm just picturing this huge demon lord plucking the banjo with a grin on his face, and then along comes some bad guys and he flips the banjo over and gives them a good whack.
Kamui: Yeah, the banjo was my favourite even before I started drawing. And I was picturing him playing it fast(classic redneck style) while his troops runs over the battlefield. =P
Konstruct: Thanks man! Don't know how much stuff I want to but on him or do you mean I should make it like compact all-in-one stuff? I think speakers are not that necessary since he and his instruments are huge.
Since it's Norms he convert I'm picturing him in a mediaval/fantasy city where he stands on a marketplace or in a church and tell the amazing tales of the rising dark force and how awesome it is to bow to it and get a piece of the powers it posses. Or the music itself could simply be magic and bring great temptation to the average mind.
Glad you like the banjo too!
Kamui: Yeah, I think I will go on the classical one. It will fit the theme better.
I think I should start modelling pretty soon since now it feels like I'm overworking the concept, like fixing one problem creating anotherone kind of situation.
Let me know what you think.
