Its coming together, but I would say, try to not get too sentimentally attached to the sculpt, the proportions and so on. At the moment I think the shoulder connection to the body is oddly low. Don't be afrait to rip that arm appart and reatach it. In real sculpt it's actually much easier to do than say, in Mudbox.
Halo-rific... nice one!
i damaged the goodz though, i keep shifting things around and redoing the helmet over and over, so the shape is a bit lost atm..
commander, dont go there, now im doubting if i should go with something else then the battlerifle.. arg
Jason
though im not talented, im just stubern..
Thanks Jensen, i hope i can push it much further then this though
fletch!, yeah man, knowing how much a good paintjob can change the looks of something, ill do my best to get that down to the detail aswell
Ged yeah i noticed XD
i've changed quite a bit of those mistakes, though i still need to shorten his upper arm a bit
Thanks monkeyboy!.
its funny how the concept of the odst changed a bit, and you start to see some mixes, or i start to see mixed designs.. all i know now is that i build something that looks like em,
Cheez! Thank you Sir!
.. yeah i know bungie is watching, that is what got me under pressure.. or scares me, i dont know yet ..
so.. yeah... uhm..
the perspective is really weird in the photo, will make a new one later and try some other light setups, plus now i have a good idea about things, i will transfer the details to the other arm/leg who have been in the dark for too long.
wait what? is that directly to me or a general advice to pass along?
it works in alot of cases, and thats why i mostly jugle around with multiple projects
take a break from one and notice mistakes or points to work on at the other, but
i actualy like to do it the other way around though.
it is standing on my desk, and when i sip my coffee, i look at it and notice what might be off, or it motivates to work on it.
i've been spending way to little time on this project, so i need to be sculpting and lucky me, i see quite alot of points i should be working on,

Hmm, i dont know, i mean, this thing hardly has a value, so its a bit of an overkill dont you think.
probably need to get alot more done if that 3000 is going to sound like a good deal to me XD
Great work man! I agree with Jason, the hands are too small, and the torso area and shoulders look too big to me as well.
Where's the scale tool in the real world when you need it! Such a simple fix in 3d, but I'm interested to see your next update!
Jason, maybe we can play sometime! wait.. that didnt sound right..
Thanks alot for the comments me buddies \o/
The hands are just placeholders/indicators right now, need to work on them sometime
Brad, scaling isnt really too dificult with clay aswell, though some 3d tools would be nice:)
Its really easy to scrape off some layers and reduce the size or shift things around a bit.

i think its good i didnt fill it up with too much foil, so i can carve away and paste it on somewhere else to shift proportions.
ill make sure to pimp those shoulders, thanks for the headsup!

When do you exspect to finish the odsts gun?
It stays hard to see what keeps changing, but it got a good overall cleanup,
moved the elbows up ect,
guess ill have to put up a new one sometime soon

Can only try to imagine how tedious this is with all the planar surfaces and no symmetry.
Keep it up rens, I love how beefy the dude feels (yuh... I come here to ghey it up!)
