I've thought this for years. The costumes were awesome in the comic.
Also I hear Gambit has a plain American accent in the movie. Thats bullshit. Storm should've had an accent too, I think? Bleh. Less Brian Singers and more Jon Favreau's please.
Unfortunetly Fox took many liberties with the movie and characters, it's hard to believe Marvel allowed it but they did. And alas, we had to include most of them in the game.
But we also included unlockable costumes Which have no resembelance to Hugh at all

Hey, is pre-ordering the only way you get the death orgy room? That looks like fun! And great job dude, I was wondering about this game, but I'm definitely getting it after watching the movie.
Looks great guys! Congrats on what looks like a great title. I can't wait to get my hands on a copy to truly appreciate all the hard work you guys put into it.
How good is the input response during all those combat animations? I play games like God of War and Devil May Cry, and sometimes you press the wrong button, and trigger a super long non interactive animation, and you do it in the wrong damn direction.
Or worse, the slow motion panning / rotation after every 3 hits.
The combat is as fluid as can be. If you are busy fighting a guy directly in front of you and are suddenly swarmed from behind, you will reach back with one of your available arms and swipe at the closest guy on your back. No hitches!
I wish they would release the demo a week early to get people pumped for it. The QA team put in extra hours (voluntarily) because they were having so much fun and couldn't stop playing! (The last Activision game that had that sort of response was CoD4.)
Pre-ordering from Gamestop is currently the only way to get the Weapon X rooms, but I believe we will have them as DLC later on, just don't quote me on that.

Between this and the pre-order bonus, I just have to play this game.
Something about a wolverine game with blood and violence that's been so overdue.
The demo will be released the same day the game hits shelves. We would have LOVED to release it a week prior, but unfortunetly we aren't allowed to till after the movie's opening day.

IGN just posted the extra costumes. I like the blue and yellow one, and how it actually fits in to the context of the game by being a leather zip up thing, instead of goofy spandex.
The yellow and blue actually look the best out of all of them in game, imo. At first I thought it would look ridiculous but it came out looking pretty sweet, much respect to our character modelers.
Did I read somewhere that it wasn't originally tied in with the movie, that Raven had a Wolverine game already in development when it was decided to tie it in with the film?
Yeah, it was being dev'd independent of the movie about 2 years ago, then the movie news came along and they decided to tie us to it for business reasons. Thankfully we were still able to make it an M rated game, which I'm sure drives Fox crazy.
See when I see images like these http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=61879 in every game preview going; and while actually playing the game and the camera work is ridiculously boring and zoomed out, I feel really ripped off. Hopefully these images are actually representative of the final in-game experience, otherwise its just false advertising.
They had the PS3 version on the shelves at my local Costco.
When I tried to buy it the till computer started beeping. It took 5 fucking managers like 10 minutes to figure out that it wasn't supposed to be on the shelves, and they couldn't sell it to me. Bummer, guess I'll have to wait till Friday.
niiice, why were they not showing the violence like that from the start!? all the old stuff was censored or blood off or whatever. those finishing moves and overall level of violence look fucking awesome. nice work raven dudes, ill be picking this up for sure.
We weren't , and are still not, allowed to show the blood and gore due to a certain movie company not wanting parents to get the wrong idea about the movie. Luckily some copies were incorrectly sold over the weekend and there are a few fan reviews popping up.
Needless to say it's been a pretty frustrating experience dealing with this company, in my oppinion...

+1
May 1st, 2 weeks away!
So what's the point of the demo?
To help you decide if you want to buy the game?
Winner.
It's obviously not ideal or normal, but it's the only way we can have a demo at all.
Looks like a renter to me. Moneys tight nowdays.
