A character I'm working on from one of the original Scooby Doo cartoons,
the Witch Doctor! Texture is awaiting one final pass before I rig and render
him
Crits much appreciated!

If it is that's pretty sick, but I think, Adam, that you should incorporate the sort of curved complex shapes into the "head" that make it look like some sick old cast metal shell or something. (in the original sprite i mean, how it kind of contours to meet the "eye")
but yeah maybe its not actually meant to be bugger
Nearly done with this peice only fine tune on diffuse, add spec pose and final render in XSI
I would darken the diffuse here quite a bit, so when you add the spec you can actually get some contrast. You see as it is much of the material is getting overblown(the lighting in toolbag is a bit overexposed).
So, these are done. It's time to move on to the next. Radial Engine has less repeating bits in the radiators, and is final. 22WT was finished tonight as well.
ADAM- killer growth spurt in these last few posts. solid realistic surfaces congrats!
PTOING- those colors are on FIRE. although you might be highlighting too many of the edges? I`ll hold that crit till the end though, cause you obviously on a stylization tip.
I'm not really a texturer but I gave it a go.. the posts on top arent final, I'm going to replace with steel girder looking post The dents/scratches are all normalled in
Internal use? Just for them to show to prospective students I'm guessing. Really nice work. I love the 4 legged animal thing. I would put the Dust Storm scene first though if this was something you were gonna send to employers, that stuff is mindblowing.

this surface is the exact opposite of what graffiti artists are looking for to spray on ... get rid of it !
konstruct: Yes, I agree that had too much edge highlighting. I changed quite a lot since then.
These parts are almost done, head needs stuff done to the top and bottom bits which are not really visible and for sure there will be lots of small changes and such until I am done with the rest

Yeah, the school has hired a new person to take care of the bachelor projects that we're engaging in after the sommer and she had to have a sense of what everybody was doing and wanted to do.
Nice Mathorne, Id Like to see more picture of that Girl, creature and theses quick sculpt! Look like solid work, and you can definitively see your familiar touch in them. Goodjob!
nice oranges skizot.
did some retopo and baking, and BAM my normals get switched up at the seams. i've been googling for hours and cant find much.
Metal Bump 9 works for mirrored uv's, just sussed that on a modular road that is mirrored on 2 axis. Just enable the plugin material as above and locate your normal map, mb9 takes specular and a few other options for viewport and other rendering engines. It can sometimes be a bit unstable though!
pfff 4 am in the morning... begin of something like a tree. did a big root with a little alienlike organism at the bottom... maybe someone see it it drains the life out of that tree. zbrush makes a lot of fun. didnt worked much before with it...
worked on the other root. I think about a small scene with the near dead tree as focus... something small and full organic so i can train making organics with zbrush... not sure what... but i will finish first this

oh i didnt follow the link. In that case it looks pretty much spot on.

True, with the little wheels and overall shape it looks a little like the larger 'tachikoma' vehicles.

Kendo: Badass design. But EQ is right; Marmoset hates light diffuse textures.
Adam thats awesome.

Just wow....
More work on that suit...
That pose makes his calves and feet look kinda weird. Especially where his right calf, crosses over the anvil. I'm sure color will fix it.

Love the mood
Having fun? Looks like you are!

And the flat thus far
he MUST have fun. High poly work is the most fun i think
HAL looks nice looking forward to the final

Really sweet stuff. I like the four legged creature the most.

Didn't code or design, just the animations. Kinda... yea.
Sorry for quoting this again but...

So today's lesson kids, is that coke and whores... not such a bad thing after all eh?
