LoTekK:, thanks man, even though i've been looking at it for a day or two as soon as i posted it here (nevermind the other two sites it's on) i knew something was off,
nice painted texture so far, i'd sharpen the edge along the bottom of the cheekbone there right where the shadow starts.
Scudz, the details on ol' Cosmo there are looking nice, but damn if the proportions aren't screwing with my head. His chest looks like it has something trying to push its way out and the ribcage just seems bloated outward in general. It almost looks like he's wearing a muscle suit.
benny: it's a cool sculpt, gnarly muscles and all that, but since you changed the proportions on the character to this super beefy-ness, the outfit no longer works. It worked with piccolo because it was this super broad mantle and puffy pants on a relatively lean guy, and the contrast of that was cool, but having puffiness and broadness on an already huge dude, doesn't work very well imo. I'd suggest the clothes just be piccolo without the cape and mantle, and less puffy pants.
butt_sahib: glad you like it. yeah i try not to do the same thing twice, from now on anyway hah
ferg:word
mat:funny you mention fat joe, i did reference some of him.
ScudzAlmighty: love the concept!, model, not so much haha agreed with swizzle. need to brush up on your anatomy. also isnt he gona be covered in clothing ?so why bother sculpt the body? cool proportions tho.
turpedo:nice sword.maybe a lil bit too green? looks great nontheless
rooster: very interesting techniques. is that in maya?
sculpting done, gona move onto a new character. i'l come back later to finish it off/texutre/render and fix/add some things i missed. pc chugs like a muthafucka
was making this for the LPC comp - but no sci-fi so i'm posting it here - i'd like to keep the current poly-ratio + silhouette so i'll end up staying about 1000 tris...
deja that looks excellent but the chainmail on the lower half of the helmet looks really underdetailed and large compared to all the tiny ornate detail on the top
Turpedo: I love the quality of your textures, but I do not love the fact that all materials look exactly the same. SEPERATE THEM! Either do some shader nonsense or paint in some differences. Right now they look like the same metal/concrete. =OOOOO QUICK FIX! GOGOGO!
Everytime I try to model a face I usually end up crashing the client in anger, *fistshaking* at the skies. This time I tried slowing down, and atleast give it a fair chance.
Edit: I know hes eyes are big, was ref'ing from Burne Hogarth's books.
So doing some silly website design for my new portfolio coming, just wanted to ask what people thought so far. I need to get a couple more "solid" pieces up there (defiantly another scene) but I'm debating on when to put up the new site.
Just the front page right now, I'm planning on having some (loopable) quicktime files for the scenes, just to give it a bit of pop when you go to their page.

Thats not alchemy He's got 3d primitives in there.
but also like alchemy ^^
He wrote a post on his method to do stuff like that.
Here is the link : http://boards.polycount.net/showthread.php?t=58585
That looks phenomenal. I'd been eager to see the 3D version since I first clocked your concept image. Great stuff.
guess who..
And here is some "blurry poop"
its not maya tho. working on that part
warriah: haha, love the bling!
haven't touched the texture nor the unwrap, but tweaked the mesh here and there. Also turned him into Sam Fisher on roids, just for fun.
Autobots and Decepticons the original Bloods and Crips lmao
Great work so far you should give him a little minicon (mini me, or pose member)
here some newer stuff i lately did. Have some fun here... some fun there and have fun with job hunting -.- pff
sort of multiply mode
i won't say no sorting issues, but no zfighting at least
i hope it will be of interest
