we already changed some stuff compared to the concept, because we thought it might fit better, and some lines just didn't work as good in 3d, having 2 fingers was my idea to capture the cloven hoofed anatomy a sheep has
oh now there is an image, nice work disco stu. I dunno if i really like the cloth, it has an overall thickness in the wrinkles which i'm not such a fan of, i'd try to give the wrinkles a less circular profile
yeah didnt upload it correct:D
thanks guys and i agree neox, im still pretty much a beginner when it comes to clothes.
I wanted it to be some thick wool but its looking to massive at the moment.

Neox, not to be too much of a fanboy, but I absolutely love these.
Rooster, I would LOVE to see you do a quick tutorial on how you do that, because I STILL don't understand it, and its cool as shit (you're modelling that right?).
trying to avoid doing the boots and attachments to the board:(
Xaltar - getting there but the mod section is just too barrel like
RobG -just noticed your new sketch. good stuff
shape - madly detailed, but seems a bit melty

thanks for the interest its actually a new technique, which I'm testing out- I need to iron out several kinks though, then I'll make a detailed post
Designed myself a stop light for the heck of it. Now that I'm graduated got nothing better to do. Haha. Just basic colors, Gonna do a wear n tear pass tomorrow!
Ruz - yeah all the tools for projection (and the alphas, for the most part) were super loose. Will try to ressurect with some old carved sandstone textures.. Nice boarder, just do those boots man.

Scudz: looove the concept, especially the proportions. I think you could push the sculpt's proportions more, to match the concept.
rooster: i'd love to see what your crazy new concepting method is all about.
was doodling a texture flat today while at work, inbetween level work... got home and decided to doodle up a model to map it onto. I might continue this, but i'll have to do some resizing of the flat first.
(the backwards workflow was kinda fun... my 3d's rusty as balls, though)
Looking great Neox - there must be something in the (h)air to have all of these goat/ faun creatures about at the minute!
I love the textureing you have got going on that head aswell Ruz - the flats are really stunning.
Here's where I'm at with my goat/ deer/ dog/ whatever creature. Just blocking in colours at the minute and trying stuff out as I haven't got a firm colour scheme in mind yet. The bird is hidden as I am still ironing things out in ZBrush.

And I love you.
Insta-filed into the "inspiration" folder
Dont feed Neox with to much of your love kodiak
those concepts are by stephan stölting, i'm building the model for him so he can texturize them for an application
nice stuff Neox
brandoom - that will need benchtesting:)
Disco Stu - cool, reminds me of Alf for some reason
Loving the shapes though.
Quick brainfart tonight - not really attempted normal mapping, was inspired by something posted here a few pages back.
Max Viewport render with Xoliul's shader thing.

First time really trying to do alphas. I don't think the results are that great.
MikeF, I concur. However, I did not plan ahead enough and screwed myself over with my uv map.
Mat, great model! I would love to see a bikini sunburn on her though.
I really need to start collecting links from you guys, would love to order some paintings from you all
Elbows are too high up and as a result the arms are too short, lengthen the upper arm a bit and it should be fine.
Looks a little like Kate Winslut :P

I´m getting bioshock vibes.
One little advice: If the arms just go straight down, the elbow and the bellybutton line up(or nearly do)
some changes
