Thanks Aesir, I can't take credit for any of these really, i'm just copying comics as best i can. I totally didn't notice the hand size thing till i scanned the image. cant believe i messed that up so much.
cool stuff, really like your Marvel stuff great poses and movement on the one with the fighting heroines. Great that your practicing hands, which are hard to draw. Keep it up!

Been on a DIY kick as of late. disregard the blue painters tape on the board. only thing i had to hold the carpet on while the glue dried :P.
and a new arcade stick. unfortunately i chiped the wood a bit when i was drilling. should have bought a new bit for it as my old one was slightly bent. and this will be the last time i use plywood for the top. I tried an experiment of using hot glue to attach the stick but that didn't hold for long. one SF4 session and the stick started shifting. gonna have to go find some small screws to hold it. I also made the rest of the box too tall, was over at a friends without my parts and thought i would err on the side of caution and make the box 4" tall. turned out to be massive. will post some pics after i remount the stick.
will have some more sketches up here shortly. volunteered to make some sketches for a flyer for work :P
finished and working!! Thinking I may take it over to a friends to make the box shorter. 4" tall at the moment, and i could probably get away with it being only 2" tall.
Your pedal board is much like my brother's. Do I spot Sanwa parts in the stick? Made myself a stick early this year with all Sanwa parts (except the Satrt button is Happ). Quite a bit smaller than yours. The artwork is only a composite of stuff I googled. You going to do the artwork on it yourself? What are you planning?
those are all sanwa parts in the box. I did lose one of my white sanwa buttons before i finished making the box so i had to replace it with a black happ button. So that's the 360 guide button now :P. I would totally do artwork on the box but i lake the tools to do so. I dont own any paint brushes or paint, or laquer. so it's staying natural for now. Thinking of taking the box over to a friends who has a table saw so i can drop the box depth down to about 2.5 inches instead of 4. will be much easier to use once i do that.
spent about 2 hours on that krogan. man am i slow:(
trying to learn to paint, really bad at it. anyways i made a dirt texture. tiles horribly but it was a fun experience and i learned quite a bit. will have some more sketches soon as well.

You know the trick behind these things is to have an even value level (light vs. dark areas) over the whole image. Those splotches of big bright areas and big splotches of dark areas are always way too visible beyond 3x tiling.
Lets see if i can guess all of them...
Spiderman from the deadpool team up, ironman from the new ultimate's comics, chu from chew, and the rest no clue.
your good, the spiderman is from the deadpool teamup where they go against hitmonkey. I believe that was war machine from the Ultimate Avengers. Dead on with Chu, love that series. The chick is from Jackpot. I really like Adrian Melo's pencil work, but the color and ink work on that series isn't the greatest.
picked up american vampire yesterday. omg i love this comic. the art style is amazing and the writing is pretty interesting. i was sad when i found out there are only 3 issues out so far. gonna make it a mag to pick up monthly.
Here's a few copies i did today from the first issue.

Nice sketches, i like the shocked expression on the chicks face.
Don't fret about taking 2 hours or whatnot, practice makes better and faster.
speedpaint. about an hour.

Nice sketches btw, great line quality.
