I am trying to push myself lately, I've been waaaay too lazy. Its motivating, creating my own style and designs even though its not the most orginal stuff ever, its fun for now : )
Heres what the main character could look like..it might change later, main characters are tough hehe, comments welcome!
awww yeah and I wrote a little backstory for this guy, excuse the cheesiness lol, I'm not a writer but I have fun trying :
Only days before the crowning of the prince, the king had realized his only son,herod, was not part of the royal blood line, furious, he banished him out of the borders of the city, lies and treason had no place into this kingdom.
This is the story of a defiled prince, a brogan sowed by fate, having to learn and live through the hands of a poor.
finally cleared out some part of the design, so the concept sketch should be locked now so I can jump to finishing and adjusting the 3d model. If I change my mind on the design plz give me an electronic slap in the face : )
Here is the color pass for this guy, always looking for feedback regarding color choices, I went with my instincts for something royal, but if you have ideas just let me know, thanks and I hope you like it!
I'll go back to the 3d hi res modeling eventually, I'll take a little break now that the design and colors are fixed.
phew pretty much done with this, I've learned tons about composition and making mistakes lol, its pretty costly to change stuff once rendered haha, for riot contest , hope you like it !
Hey guys, I wanted to give a preview of this character I am working on before letting it rest for the weekend, some small tweaks here and there before its all wrapped up, but I am definately feeling I am close to done! yay!
i would state the on the left picture the arms are a bit off. the arm holding the cup is a bit too thick wrist and the lower arm behind that seems a bit too long.
but i love the face expression of the pirate to the right
