Jimmy_the_Squirrel, stinger_88 : I am trying to figure out my own style and do my own thing and your encouragements tell me i am on the right path, thanks for the support!!
heres a creature for COW at CA.org
the Satyr slayer, very vorace, sneaky, loves to hide in the long grass and leap on its prey.
yo Simon, so thats where u r, lol, i was wondering where u disappeared :P
Appears that u've been into 2d all this time.
Did u lose your previous profile btw?
this guy is great, reminds me sooo much the Exodysey, a great book by Stembot, awesome source of inspiration.
This character has got lots of personality, appears that B&W image is quite enough to show all whats essential
Hey Matroskin , thanks for the compliment, nah I havnt lost my profil but im kinda less on forums lately but i plan on being more implicated once my project calms down.
Nice work...just like others have said, the brush stroke qaulity is great in your pieces, thks for the tut on the brushes as well! The Dark Hero image is super moody, it tickles my fancy:)
Loving the updates Wizo. The colorized version is definitely a step up.
As for crits - The pinkish colour mostly on the neck reads (just my opinion) a bit milky compared to the rest of the skin. I'm just going to guess here, but it looks like your going for subsurface scattering on the skin, reflected light from the inside of the armor, and adjusting the shadow area to be less saturated. If so, all three effects seem to be neutralizing each other. You might want try pulling back on one until thing even out. I hope that makes sense.
Hey guys, thanks for the crits, they make do make sense : ) , I didnt even notice the pink tint in the shadows, I got too focused design and values, so Ill be reworking with the crits in mind to reach a final render. Cheers.
hey guys, I took the day and reworked some weird parts, a good friend gave me a few tips on how to sell the concept more I ve learned tons, I hope you dig
Your style is really great, I love how much your brush strokes come out. They really contribute as much to your pieces as the subject matter itself. Really awesome stuff.
I play protoss all the time so I'll probably make a protoss unit in the end, just for fun.
Maybe next I'll try an immortal variation but bigger and more colossus like.
PIOU PIOU! Mix between colossus-immortal and charges up like the void rays, such IMBA!
more sc 2 fanart fun, I wonder if its different enough from the current units, I am eventually gonna stick to a design and make it in 3d with sc 2 specs and try to integrate it in the game.

Great stuff Wizo!
Heres a late night sketch, I eventually wanna design a new SC2 unit for fanart. So for warming up:
I play protoss all the time so I'll probably make a protoss unit in the end, just for fun.
