took an old model, started resculpting it this afternoon and then did a quick photoshop pass to make the render more interesting.
I am going to spend a bit more time working on the head, cleaning it up and adding extra details and doing all the stuff I have been too lazy to get done sofar.. probally make a hat and some clothes to finish off the bust too..
I have a few things that I didnt get around to posting last year.. so I might dig them out and add them to the thread.
I want this year to be more productive
Little update on the bust and an unfinished wip from early last year. When the dom war 3 was starting up I didnt have time to participate as I had to move apartments (twice) so I ended up doing that sculpt on my laptop.. a bit rough

<fanboy comment> no really tho great stuff as seems to be the usual from ya, love your choice of details, and your detail frequency control in your characters. Your doing a great job on these last few of creating a spectacular balance. also love the tire backpack. also, you do some gorgeous hands man.
More proof that Tim is a cannibal! Where else could he get all that extra creativity from if not from eating baby's/children?! And all his talent... its from other artists that he cons into coming back to his place for drinks. Then when they are all liquored up he eats their brains!!!!

cheers yo, never really got the time to finish it to the standard that I would like but I am happy with the overall feel of the character. Definitely in the ball park for how I would want to create guile.
Nice work Spacemonkey. I think its one of the best in the comp... nice sculpting and the take on Guile is one of the best I've seen. I really like the face.
Great looking Guile man. I like the face you used rather than the one that the guy did on GA.org. I prefer this super square jawed look that capcom has been using in the more current depictions of Guile.

I spent some time this weekend practicing rendering with the general.. which I need practice with.. still got to polish up that model and finish.
I also did a paint over of the wretched little mutie I posted, but we'll see how that goes.
And great paintover too! Thats quality hybrid concept art right there.
