good to see you get everything under one roof, so to speak. i enjoy the figurine-type renders, though they ever-so-briefly tricked me into thinking you had gotten some 3d prototyping done of your old DomWar beastie, which would be awesome
Kickass work Tim. Inspiring!
The guy with the huge horns and bone hooks for hands is my favourite, I love what you've done with the muscles and flesh surface.
Been doing some reworking of the texture on this guy. I wasnt very happy with the way it turned out first time around its a simple way for me to practice balancing things out more.
Thanks guys
gauss I'm thinking of getting one done for my birthday, either that or I get some latex mask making equipment!
conte yeah the human face is early.. I always feel less motivation to work on humans - I think because I do so much on them at work.
thanks guys, fixed up the shape of the head. I wanted to make sure I was considering bone and muscle and fat as I sculpted. I killed a bit of the nice detail on teh damaged side of the face but I'll be working to bring that back. Lots of roughness still.:)
he's looking amazing currently. Although scars like this would have made mincemeat of his muscle tissue, causing the left hand side of his face to sag a lot lower than the right hand side, especially in the eye and jowl area.
If you look at famous people who have had facial injuries (like Takeshi Kitano) you can get a good idea of before and after. He suffered injury to one side of his face in a car crash, and as a result the reconstructed surgery left him with very lazy features on that side.
So two roughs of ideas I'm playing with. Myself and a few friends at work are considering putting a prototype together and I wanted to shape a generic zombie soldier out.
Thanks guys, not nazi zombs but I certainly like the german uniforms - way more style to them than others
I need to crank out some other idea's, I feel these are very safe yet fulfil the criteria we need for out prototype, but it never hurts to explore more ideas.
oh yeah and I have seen the trailers for that film! I hope they can make it.
well slow times, but I was planning on doing more work on the old Brood and a low res version of superzombies face.. but theres a new cgchat comp that Askhat was made me aware of
Its a head/bust sculpt so it should be quick and painless fun! weeeeeeeeeeee
You really need to send ID, or Epic some calls. You have a great talent for horror creatures like in most of their games. I would love to see you make a small animated short using some of these monsters..perferably a animated horror
still mo to add, I want to make plenty of detail in max and then take it to mudbox for extra. I lost some of the yummy small/mid shapes... might have to push them back into the mesh
comin along great man. I can see how that 3d concept would really be helpful, I may have to try that for my next model. Great ratio of large/medium/small details on the armor. Fitting the tiny ultra-complex small details in while still having nice big readable forms. Very good sir.
Only crit so far is he's got some pretty hardcore crotch folds.

Yeah , I know this DVD of Ian Joyners , I think that I'm buying this one as a next.
Last week I've bought this 3 DVD , realize by autodesk
with Arman Akopian from UBI SOFT.
I've found all what I've needed ( for this time)....all is under 3DS MAX, that's why Ian Joyners's DVD is next to see some workflow with ZBRUSH.
