This is the sweet spot for your low-poly models. Post 'em if you've got 'em!Low-poly hasn't really been a requirement in the games industry for a long while now. This thread is for low-poly art style appreciation, so please take note of these rough guidelines:
- Keep models under 1,000 triangles.
- Scenes are fine, if all models are low poly.
Some dedicated low-poly modelling tools now exist that make this art style a lot easier to produce;

Feedback would be appreciated. Especially to do with the UV unwrapping, unsure if it's adequate.
wireframe
512 diffuse with baked in AO.
144 tris, 74 polys. I could probably reduce it more, the more I mindlessly stare at it.:poly142:

Totals at around 300 polys currently, but I am still in the process of optimising and unwrapping it.
Here is a quick, cheaply textured model of a spaceship. Critiques are welcome...

Looks "cheap."
HAHAH

I'll leave now.
@rorozilla
I think I've fell in love with those grave stones.
And since everything is pretty low poly I thought I post it here. (Scene as you can see it on the render sits around 6k tris through)

It would be cool to see the sharp end of the nail pointing out, and I wonder what the nail heads would look like as squares.
I always assume baseball bat, and on that note this club is a bit long and thin, but it can be whatever you want it to be
i would also make the handle straight.
^ This. It would look too fragile if that part is bend.

incredible work, as always - polycount is always the place to make me jealous but motivated at the same time
here's my contribution - Finn with his cute little butt - hope to create loads more!
If not, sorry to be blunt, but:
1.the cat is not low poly. The head has more triangles than 20 bodies like that. So why did smooth the head and not the rest? Or vice versa.
2.So you painted the eyes, but the body has color set by faces? Why?
3.You shouldn't care about speed, so take some extra few more minutes. Heck, take a whole day or two. Results are more important than speed. Always. Let nobody tell you otherwise.
4.Is this a joke post?
What's the purpose of this cat? I'm serious, i'm not trying to funny or rude, you should know at least for yourself the answers of the questions above. If there's some confusion, we're here to help.
Ok, let's start from the beginning. I wanna help, so we could start of with a drawing of the cat, sketch, concept art etc. Knowing where you're going with the model, and what do you expect from it, is really important so you don't lose focus on the way. If you can draw the basic shape of the cat, let's go from there. Basic colors, or front+side view would help a lot. Once you have that, i'll continue with how to go about it and plan your model.
Alright ill get started on some concept art. Thanks for the help by the way. I really appreciate it.
Lesser demon unit from the game Hell. Was a fun unit to make

The Roc (bird) has 1900 tris and the Riverwatch Rider (knight) has 1200 tris. The others are all under 1000
