This is the sweet spot for your low-poly models. Post 'em if you've got 'em!Low-poly hasn't really been a requirement in the games industry for a long while now. This thread is for low-poly art style appreciation, so please take note of these rough guidelines:
- Keep models under 1,000 triangles.
- Scenes are fine, if all models are low poly.
Some dedicated low-poly modelling tools now exist that make this art style a lot easier to produce;

minus all the spaces of course:
You're wasting a lot of triangles. You could lose a loop on all the wheels, and a bunch of loops on top of the hood and at the rear/top can go as well.

Here is my very very first go at modeling, I went for a cell shaded/Zelda look. Any advice or comments welcome.

Boy, I have a long way to go.
I Think this is really not that bad for your first everything
The necks a bit long and I might just have a dark monitor but it could do with some highlights in places like the hair. (Lovely face, though)
I like the shading.
Also i'm not really a modeler but i'm pleased with results

loving this.

You might want to avoid using text at this resolution, flat colours work best. Same for drawing details (highlights etc) on areas that are trapezoid quads or fan triangles, the texturemap is going to distort anyway so you are best off rolling with it and only using flat colour or colour blocks in these areas.

574 tris total + 512 diff. Could've gone for 256.
Thanks for watching. Cheers.
Also, @gwerty, that looks rad. Monochromatic GBA color palette + low poly equals to instant win, always.
PS: As a bonus, here's one of the WIPs:
Amazing work !
in game:
Triangles: 577
Diffuse: 512x512
Normal: 512x512
this is awesome!
P.S. youtube link do not work

Your model looks really nice. I really like the style of it. Especially the clothing looks real crispy.
@Zaphiron: your pokemon looks promising, although her face looks a bit unclear?
@mcunha98: thank you. Your in-game shot doesn't show up?
The whole scene is 872 triangles, and she's got a 1024^2 texture. The TV got one too but I could have made it only 512^2. x3 Her rig is based on Mya's but with fingers.
