This is the sweet spot for your low-poly models. Post 'em if you've got 'em!Low-poly hasn't really been a requirement in the games industry for a long while now. This thread is for low-poly art style appreciation, so please take note of these rough guidelines:
- Keep models under 1,000 triangles.
- Scenes are fine, if all models are low poly.
Some dedicated low-poly modelling tools now exist that make this art style a lot easier to produce;

I love this! Great work!
obviously a Wip.
I think you should turn off filtering in the render settings. The texture looks great on the flat, but is coming out slightly blurred in the render.
sa-weet!
My only crit would be that the UI needs to pop out more. Especially in the first screen it blends too much with the actual game.
I'm going to rework it on several parts (big head, eye, thin hair) so that she can blow the trumpet. crits welcomed.
And here is wires and some parts hard to see.
I disagree. I like it. It may be gratuitous, but I like it. Besides, it's used in Anime all the time.

but the arm bands probably don't need the extra polys, can't see the depth of the silohette anyway. And you could probably shave down the hands some too. Make them mittens and shave a lot.

Fire is looking awesome! Needs some smoke though.
Actually, I did most of the UI bits of MageMaze and all of the programming. The game is a collaboration between me and Michael Dashow (known as walrus in the online realm). And he did/is doing like 99.9% of the art. I originally was going to make characters for it as well, but the programming is taking all of my time, so no.
so we tap on that guys balls to pause the game? He looks pretty happy about it.
LMFAO, double tap!
