I don't collect anything myself, and can't think of a time that I ever did. I guess I'm just weird .
As for me...oh yes I collect.
Shot glasses - have about 140 of them, trying to get at least one from every location. (so if anyone wants to send me a present, tee hee!)
Simpsons figures - The Playmates collection. Only missing a few Toyfare exclusives. Thanks to 3D Guy I got most of the Toys R Us exclusives.
Typical girly stuff - Snowman/penguins, ballet stuff, ceramic knick knacks all around.
Everything else I have is pretty random, wouldn't call them collections.

Nerd Groupie: Haha, you should see our cupboard here at the flat ... we make a point of stealing 6 glasses every time a new theme comes out in the local nightclubs and/or student union ... we have a very large selection at the moment!
Me, I'm slowly collecting guitars
I have 5 at the moment, both electric and acoustic, in various conditions and qualities.
I also used to collect Games Workshop miniatures a few years back, I have quite a lot of Orcs and Goblins, but it became too expensive to continue. I could probably sell what I've got and make a fair bit of cash.
I also collect what KDR collects.
MoP
Nerd Groupie you ever get that Radioactiveman and milhouse one?

haven't counted in a while, but i thinks its up around 150 different dispensers.
I also used to collect comics, had about 10,000 of them at one point. But when you've got 20+ long boxes, they just take up too much space. So, I was broke, and decided to make my fortune, selling the bulk of them. The price guides told me that I had over $50,000 worth of comics that I wanted to move. But alas, this was before EBay, and their was a huge comics glut. I got about $300 for them, and there was nothing I could do about it, as I was physically unable to move them any more.
Now I collect nothing, as I realize that I am a bit prone to obsessive/compulsiveness with regards to collections. I still buy a lot of CDs, but just to listen to, not as a fan-collector of imports or anything. I'm planning on buying real-estate instead, with all of the money I'm saving. It's a much better investment than collectibles anyway.
I AM UP TO 324 GAMES NOW! just got Bad News Baseball!
Sundance because you go crazy anytime a female who touches a computer talks.

I am especially proud of the one on the left!
$600 bucks in 1986 it helped to have a buddy grading books at Vikon Village at the time! I am eternally indebted to him!
edit:
Mop, do not partake of that triple funnel of doom! alcohol should be sipped heavily into a drunken stupor. Not guzzled into fuckeduptiness in 5 minutes!
With the addition of more duck tape, the triple-cider-funnel thing with the tap attached to the end actually works, although under tremendous pressure. It actually fires across the room if you're not careful. It will fill a pint glass in under 2 seconds. It used to leak until we patched it up with more duck tape.
Proven "nice" combinations - Apple Sourz, Southern Comfort + Lemonade - we call it a "Cutaway"
Bols Blue, Midori + Lemonade is a rather vibrant green colour and very nice to drink.
Limoncella is a fine drink to enjoy neat.
We will put the triple-cider-cannon thing to use tomorrow night, when it's one of my flatmates' birthdays. Hurrah!
(I'm amazed my typing and spelling is so consistent... must be force of habit.)

As you should be! WOW!
And I so want to to party with Mop.
Nerd Groupie: Damn straight you do. And the best thing is, the party isn't until tomorrow night... by which time more people will have arrived bearing more drinks...
We also have a design for a better bar optic, which would mix drinks before you even put them in the glass. That's still up in the air though, the duck-tape and tubing affair with the cider bottles is enough hassle already.
Also not in that photo (for some reason) is a keg.
I will try to get a photo of the full array before everyone gets stuck in tomorrow night (tonight in fact, it's 2:40am).
You may have also noticed the post-it notes on the wall behind the drinks - they read "To Evil" - the salute we always make before drinking! A fine choice, I feel.
Ha!
I have an Action Figure collection from when I was a kid
And a Garage full of Working but obsolete computer equipment
(i hate diet coke, by the way, but when we run out of diet dr pepper, i hit my dad's stash of sodas til the fridge is full again)
