I really could use help on getting my details right and the topo. It seems like i would sit down and work over and over just for there to be issues... I've adapted a lot of learning techniques through YT so i'm still learning. I only model cars really i do plan to venture into maybe trains or semi trucks. I'm trying to do this so i can make a big asset library i can sell
In addition, decided to spend time doing a partial quick sketch of an early production 2011 Cadillac as an example via Loop & Mesh tools alongside a HS modeller's best friend the KNIFE TOOL.
Which is I think fairly indicative just how one can quite reasonably output a subd HP class A topology mesh, for free without reliance upon 'fancy' third party feature-sets.
NOTE:
This YT guy imo really worth watching.
Actually goes through these vanilla operations mentioned above and more importantly how to correctly use them.
(...also when manipulating transformations whilst mitigating issues like potential distortion, elaborates on both GG - GGC vertex constraints or 'edge slide' shortcuts, as well)
Provided advice for someone modeling a Mini Cooper, aside from the wheel arches there's more automotive polygonal modeling fundamentals packed in there:
