Hey! I really wanted to create something delicate and beautiful instead of my usual monstrous creatures. So this is my forest fairy 🦋 https://www.instagram.com/oksana.cherry.3d/
I'm glad to share my new work in cyberpunk style. I did this scene in high poly and used the Yeti hair plugin. Compared to Xgen, he seemed very comfortable and flexible to me. I hope you will enjoy.

Hmm.. just my two cent.. first i thougth: the head is a little small.. but it seems to be more the ears.. (or boh) and then the feed: on african elephants they get a little thinner before the get thicker on the bottom.. ?? And after looking at some ref.. my imagination seems to be not soo bad But then.. i couldn't do this details even if i had an elephant in my room
Hi everyone, I would like to share my recent work, I wanted to push my texturing skills, create textures from scratch and make myself less dependent on premade materials
without going into details where i feel like you could match the concept better, i feel like a few notes could be adressed on this piece. check some anatomy. the way you constructed the neck feels very off to me, you could go 2 directions here. more accurate anatomy representation or overall just less anatomy showing through. with the concept i would go for the second route and consider the neck as one surface that goes into the head, chest and shoulders. without much of surface breakup going on. ankles feel a bit broken especially the front facing one
some lines feel wobbly, i would clean those up
I feel you could have either worked more low or more highpoly. atm it feels a bit imbalanced with shoulders being significantly smoother than the calves are. personally i just would add a loop here and there to get rid of the blockly look at places or use the blockly edges at the right places to emphasize the hard shape changes of the design
materialwise i feel like everything is too samey. skin looks almost like the yellow suit, looks almost like hair etc. patterns on the suit seem to have the same material properties as the suit itself. i would suggest you treat each channel of your material (albedo, roughness, maybe specular level if youre using it) similarily by using contrasts between materials in each of these channels to pop them more.
i would also introduce a bit of roughness breakup here and there to spark some interest. the face looks very noisy and plasticy due to seemingly having just one roughness value all around
Haven't posted anything since about 2010. But i'm still here every day to check out how everyone is doing.
This here fella is spaghetti scifi spaceman. Like 50/60s era scific magazine/comic cover aesthetic. All form questionable function. Like those boots would absolutely not work in space.
