I didn’t realize how difficult it was to create Blender tutorials until today, damn!!! It’s not easy, but it’s a good learning experience. I helped a fellow Blender user troubleshoot a modeling issue.

🔹Checked out a few videos on art fundamentals.

🔹Looked into colors and gave my previous design a shot on my model.

🔹Couldn't do much on the PC due to back/wrist pains. Ended up watching a bunch of CG Cookies tutorials on texturing and making materials.

🍒 Day 4 out of 30 days of sculpting. I familiarized myself with the ZBrush interface and also purchased a Udemy course on sculpting.

🍒 I explored various selection tools, transformation tools, Fill, Strokes, and Swatches in Illustrator.

Day 118 of my 360 days of art:

🍒 I began the Udemy course on Sculpting and acquired fresh insights into the ZBrush interface and its tools. Out of curiosity, I made adjustments to a cube in ZBrush, exported it (as an OBJ), imported it into Blender, and applied a subdivision. The outcome was as anticipated.

🍒 I delved deeper into Adobe Illustrator, conducting research on Pantone, RGB, and CMYK colors.

Day 119 of my 360 days of art:

🐻‍❄️ I delved further into the ZBrush interface, exploring subtools, the transpose line, and the gizmo. I also made the decision to step away from ZBrush temporarily, focusing instead on enhancing my understanding of art fundamentals like form.

When I read about corals, I was surprised. There are many more stories behind these colors than simply "they look cool to me." 🟡 I practiced various color combinations using Adobe Illustrator. I became more familiar with certain hotkeys like V (object select), I (eyedropper), X (switch between fill/stroke), and Z (zoom in/out). I also discovered some interesting colors.

🔷 I experienced some wrist pains, preventing me from working on my laptop. So, I watched instructional videos on Illustrator, where I learnt about the pen tool, blob tool, and erase tool.

🔷 I dedicated time to watching videos on Form and Value.

🔰 I watched multiple tutorials on Adobe Illustrator, delving into concepts like paths, anchor points, and control handles.
🔰 I conducted research on prominent YouTube accounts to follow for Adobe Illustrator and bookmarked several videos.
🔰 I created a logo using a YouTube tutorial as my reference, then experimented with various color combinations after conducting some research.

Teal + Cream colour is a good combination you can use in your design (branding/fashion). While teal and cream may not be complementary colours, they still offer a pleasing contrast when paired. Teal, with its bluish-green tones, contrasts against the warm and neutral cream colour. This contrast isn't as intense as that of complementary colours, but it's sufficient to create visual interest and separation between elements in your design.

Teal and Coral harmonize effectively, although they are not strictly considered complementary colors. 

Based on the research I conducted, some individuals argue that they are complementary due to their capacity to generate a high-contrast, eye-catching combination reminiscent of the effects produced by true complementary colors. 

From a technical perspective, teal's complementary color is red. Nonetheless, coral and teal blend seamlessly together.

Light grey and teal combine well because they create a soft and soothing contrast. They both evoke a sense of nature and calmness. The coolness of the teal is balanced by the warmth of the light grey, and the two colors create a sense of calm and relaxation

Day 124 of my 360 days of art

⭕ I watched a tutorial video on designing a hospital logo, experimenting with multiple colour in the process

⭕ In a Discord server, I assisted a fellow Blender user in troubleshooting a modeling task, contributing to the community. 

Colour combinations: 

- Light grey, blue (I tried out different shades) and white 

- Green, Ash grey and soft blue

Why does this colour combination (purple, silver, and light lavender) look cool to the eyes? Purple is a secondary colour that is made by mixing red and blue, while silver is a shade of grey that is made by mixing black and white.

 Silver is a neutral colour that can match with any hue, but it especially enhances the richness and elegance of purple. Purple carries both warm (red undertones) and cool (blue undertones) qualities. Silver's neutral and cool appearance balances out the warmth of purple, resulting in a harmonious blend.

Light lavender is a tint of purple that is made by adding white. Light lavender has a lower saturation and brightness than purple. Purple and light lavender can create a soft and delicate mood, depending on the shades and tints of purple and light lavender used.

I experimented with two additional colour combinations, drawing inspiration from real hospital logos' colours. The one with the shade resembling orange appears overly saturated to me, but I decided to give it a try nonetheless. What are your thoughts on this?
