Beautiful my dude!can wait for the final render! On the side note, can we see the buttstock extended in the final renders? it would be a shame if you've modelled and beautifully textured the receiver extension and not show it.
It looks almost finished already. I really can't say how you could improve it. The texture is not so important as long as you show all the details you modeled when you render it. That's just my opinion from a noob artist
@oglu Well ... not too sure... because im going for a used but cleaned weapon... like when you used it and than cleaned it... so i dont want dirt... just some wear and tear...
@Delthor Thanks man! Yea i just want to add some more details.. but thats pretty much it The Renders will be one of the most important parts tho
@R4DSUN Thanks man! I hope i will be done and happy about it soon
Very nice progress! You could separate the materials a bit more by tweaking diffuse/gloss values. Maybe it would be cool to add a subtle noise to the handguard.
@Zi0 Thanks for the input! I already did this, but maybe to subtle... so i pumped it up a bit This is what it looks right now, im quite happy how it looks right now! So i need to figure out some nice shots so i can show off everything nicely
That looks awesome! As you said, now you just need to showcase everything you spent time working on. I'd suggest you start by taking a look at these close-up shots from a manufacturer's site and try to replicate them: https://www.jerrysfirearms.com/ny-ca-delta-daniel-defense-mk18-other
Already posted a comment on ArtStation, but I'd like to tell you that it'd be nice if you added and embedded turntable from Sketchfab or Marmoset so that people can inspect the artwork
@oglu uhh you might be right on this one, i think i used solid white... well... i will think of it for the next one ^^ @Delthor i tried ^^ but its too big for the 15mb limit for marmoset... i could give sketchfab a try ... lets see @teodar23 what do you mean?
@teodar23 ok i see... but even if so... i dont really mind ... i only created this weapon because i had fun creating it and to put something on my portfolio if someone wants to have the files, sure take them ^^
Standout job a prime example that for me embodies both attention to detail and hard surface modeling finesse, also can't help myself ogling those bevels, too

I would not have finished this one without posting it here ^^
The only thing that jumped into my eye are the letters of the decals are to white.
Nothing in real world is so white.
