When adding/removing a "default plain normal map" into the normal slot, you can clearly see that the preview changes somehow

its like the default normal map has still some values in it...is that a bug?
(i choosed "metalic roughness", version: 2018.3.1)

if the map is not connected the output has an invalid value (black probably)
