I really liked the quick work with highpoly and the freedom of texture that I saw in Kun Tang's work with online Zhelong Xu courses.I love such models, so I must to do something similar. I hope I succeeded.

this week I have been experimenting with photoscanning. This borge mogensen chair was put on a motorized turntable with 2 softbox flashes aimed at it, then shot several 360 sequences at different heights/angles. Finally i flipped the chair upside down and did the same thing, realitycapture did a great job ignoring the background and the two scanning sessions merged togheter perfectly.
The gif animation above is rendered in vray with cleaned topology and uvs plus some shader work.
I'm calling this done. Thanks everyone.
