Hi everyone! I'm Cha Red Horse and I'm here to present my first 3D printed figure made in Zbrush! Full turnaround available at my Instagram account. @cha_redhorse
Here's my first 3d printing test ^^ Printed at 12 cm high, with a layer-height of 0.15mm in PLA It was a good test, made a bunch of mistakes on the model itself, it can't stand up (d'oh!) and there's a big nasty seam around the back.
Awesome prints! here´s the first part of a project we are making for a customer, it´s going to be a climbing hang board, sorry for the quality of the photos, printed in a prusa MK2S at .3 mm, Final size will be around 25*40*20. To be sanded molded and cast.
Here're my offerings: The soldier and base are the basic Strong and Flexible material from Shapeway's. The base was $16.16 and soldier was $21.94. In total it came to $43.09 including $4.99 for delivery. One off done for a friend but we've found that the foresight on the launcher has snapped off twice:
My Mr. Mesmafrog was also done by Shapeways with the same material - i think it cost about $13: (about 3" tall)
And this was done at 25mm by Shapeways again. This time in the super detail material. It was a costly mistake as i exported the pieces from ZBrush at all the same size. So, when it arrived, the backpack was 25mm and so was the dagger, Yep... pricey mistake!
I finished this little lady some for time now but didn't posted so there she is. For those who may know her she's a french vocaloid named Alys and this my work for her future 1/6 scaled figure (the image is 1/8 scale since we did for the first prototype)
I'm waiting for her to come back from her first painting
Hi everyone, it's been a long time since I've visited Polycount. Great to see a 3D printing community here. I've been very interested in 3D printing recently here are some examples of what I've designed. All of these are created in Blender or 3DS Max and printed on a Wanhao Duplicator i3.
Dubrovnik style chess set - printed with bamboo 'woodfil' PLA and stained with rosewood stain.
The O'Cello is a 3D printable cello I designed.
It can be printed on any device with a 20cm build volume and there are already lots of mods and remixes for it on Thingiverse.
I've also been making a lot of topography prints of real locations. These are printed in PLA and finished with acrylics, inks and resin. Crater Lake, Oregon:
Here's a 3D printed sculpture in tribute of the protagonist of the game Hollow Knight by Team Cherry. It's only a prototype for fun and was printed with my Formlabs Form2.
I've just recently bought a 3d printer and after a couple of tests this
is the first sculpt I made that I was able to print. I've got to say its
oddly satisfying to see the whole process through.
So great to see a 3d printing thread in here. Would be great if there was a sub forum, but better than nothing I guess. Curious to know how many people here actually have their own printers vs using shapeways and the likes, and what kinds they have.

Great stuff everyone! I just recently got hooked up with 3D printing and got obsessed with making 3D printed charms and jewelries . I will share a few here:
^Church of the Machine God from Deus Ex: Mankind Divided . My new fav necklace.
This is the biggest print I have made in a while. Please feel free to comment and watch the youtube timelapse that is on 10x speed by clicking the image.
Grumpy Batman printed and airbrush painted. That are actually 6 parts, mouth area, mask, eyes and eyeballs. You can rotate the eyes and replace them with white ones or even could put lights inside.
So, by no means is this half as pretty as most of the prints I've seen on this thread.... but I'm all about utility. Haha. Some beautiful stuff in here. This is a mount I made to replace my car's stock stereo with an android tablet, basically it lets me get into my car, slid the tablet into its' slot and automatically connect to a bluetooth receiver to stream music from the tablet to the car speakers. It also switches to "android auto" automatically and has a wireless charger built in. And it's mounted with zipties. :P It worked GREAT for the first couple of days before it melted in the texas heat, I should have used ABS. lol
I recently made this honey mug. It was meant to be for mead, but I guess it can be used for drinking tea as well. I thought I would share my process with you. If you click the image below, you will find yourself watching a 10x time-lapse of me modeling and coloring the mug.
Hello everyone, it's been a while since posting on Polycount and I'm glad to see that there is a 3D Print thread! I wanted to share this simple render of the Blademaster character model that I've been creating in my "Concept Sculpting in ZBrush" class. This was my first real ZBrush character model ever, since only beginning to use ZBrush 10 weeks ago for this course. It took about 5 weeks to create this from start to finish.

And they're only 33 and 38 mm tall, on an FDM printer (a CR-10, using Zyltech PLA). Still have a little cleanup on the Gnoll.
