A colleague of mine built this awesome mech from motorcycle and household parts (still slightly WIP):
At the moment I'm replicating it in Maya with the goals to texture it using Substance and after that render in Marmoset and/or UE4. Feel free to post your feedback/critiques/general ideas on this project.

Started detailing work:
Will clean up the gun topology in a later stadium as well as redoing some bits. Aiming to get all shapes in there before finishing individual meshes.
Started work on the "clavice" (if that's the correct anatomical definition for a bipod)
Finally gotten around to spend some more time on the project, put all the existing parts together and created the neck:

The topology had some iterations before it started feeling right, any suggestions on that? I think after doing a bit of cleaning up first it will be time to add depth and start adding all the smaller parts to complete the entire head.
