So, i usually play on pc. yesterday i played a few matches on ps4 before bed, and holy hell... Why is it SO much faster on ps4? Everything feels like it's double speed. Is the framerate just higher on ps4? If so, how is that possible? Isnt it usually PC that has the better frame rates? Definitely found it much harder to play, and not just cause im use to an xbox controller on pc. But my timing was way off on aerials, and even the starting hit.

Did you change your POV? Maybe you have it wider on the PC? Just a guess. I've been trying to adjust it on my PS4, to get a better view, when everyone piles up, but not really noticing a difference in my POV.

I wonder, how does the match making work? I assume these settings are for unranked. but is it completely random? Or will you choose the ones you want and which ones you dont like a giant check list?
Looks awesome and cant wait to try low gravity! However... I'm not seeing any custom shaped maps, I'd really love regular play on odd shaped maps for a change. I'm sure it will come eventually.
Also, Played in a game with Kronovi the other day. Not sure why he was on EU servers... Anyway, we won ;P
Yup. Its was him. Jumped to his twitch while in game to see him streaming it. There was about a 30sec delay. I think he was warming up before a EU server based game, probably getting used to the lag.
Was a fun game. I saved the replay of course. ;P
EDIT: I found it! Skip to 1.31 for the match. Seems he plays EU to get better rank scores
new update looks dope as hell, but I can't help but be disappointed/confused by the lack of a polycount community flag... considering some of the other flag inclusions. still, great work dudes and dudettes!
That multi tier map with extra height looks epic, can't wait to fail at some extra high freestyle aerials!
Also spotted in the vid Halo and Gears of war cars. Hope they aren't tied to a purchase of those titles in some way.
p.s. Please remove Wasteland from the map rotation. I'm all for custom maps and was screaming for them to be included but those sloped side just dont work. Glad to see the new maps dont have any of that going on.

I disagree. I'd hate to see it removed, and I honestly don't feel like the slope changes anything (other than the ball rolling). My friends love the map too. It wouldn't bother me if it was out of the ranked rotation though.

And Im glad wasteland is going to ranked. I want to play it more, but I hate playing non-ranked.
I love the new maps, and I want to see them in competitive play, it needs them to keep the game fresh and interesting, anything that gives people more room to do more interesting gameplay. I'm starting to get a bit tired of the normal strategies on the standard maps.
So, work did a huge tournament a few months ago. It was something like 33 teams of 3 or 4 people each. 3v3 tourny. Just got my medal! haha. Was teamed up with Adam and 2 others. Didnt come home with first, but we still did alright.
2nd place is pretty respectable I'll check out the video, after work today. It's funny, I feel like I've seen your name before. Keep an eye out for notman05
I'm usually not in ranked mode, which I suspect you spend more time in. I'm usually in 3s, but go to 4s, depending on how many friends join in. Your name seems familiar from much further back... not during my recent return to the game.
I usually spend my time blocking, and trying line up shots for my team (and occasionally scoring). So, if you see me, I'm usually wildly flying in from the side, or up the wall, trying to aerial kick the ball out of the corner. My group is to dysfunctional to actually compete.
Im actually pretty good at flying, usually. But I am TERRIBLE at wall shots. I find it hard to just hit it on the wall, nevermind jump from the wall and aerial it. haha
haha, the hardest shot I've found... driving straight at the ball. I don't know how I manage it, but every time I go straight at it, I twitch, and somehow dodge to one side, or the other... lol, can't figure out what is miswired about me to do that. But if I forward flip, I'm good

Ya, Poutine carried their team for sure. They were from the Quebec City studio. I like to think I had some good shots / saves. But that guy was killer.
