I am wondering what timeline is that movie in, we can clearly see that Batman was around for years. We will also see him in Suicide Squad, but Joker/Harley are young-ish and developing, so is the Joker from Suicide Squad a different one ? In addtion, Lex from the BvS is Alexander Luthor Jr.(son of Lex Luthor).
Super stoked that they spoiled the 3rd act of the movie with that trailer. Really tired of trailers turning from teasing a movie to being the cliff notes.

strongly hinted at that the Joker in suicide squad isn't the original Joker, but is probably Jason Todd.
That last trailer was super cool and brilliant, except for that part with Doomsday. But who knows, if it's very well executed with more layers to it, maybe I'll actually be surprised.

Besides that weird ass "light two" on supermans head, poster looks great. Didn't get a chance to see starwars in theaters yet ,ugh!!..But hopefully I'll get to see deadpool and all the other films this year.

I'm not sure it has though. There's still plenty of story that hasn't been given yet and I think everyone already knew it wasn't going to be just Batman fighting Superman for the whole movie. I wish they hadn't gone with Doomsday though, Metallo or Bizarro would've made more sense if they're having Luthor create the bad guy.
That's true. Not sure what the tone is now though, they seem to be livening things up a bit with Suicide Squad but he still probably wouldn't fit without some drastic changes.

I still have very little hope for this movie. It's a Zack Snyder film, so it will look good. Even with some of the desaturation that he has a tendency to lean on, the man knows his cinematography. He's head-and-shoulders above hacks like Michael Bay in that regard. Mr. Snyder has always been able to deliver visually striking films with some really good camera angles.
I just wish there was a decent story to back them up. One of his best films ever was a by-the-numbers zombie apocalypse film. And from the promotional material released so far, I can't help but feel like Batman V Superman is just going to be more of the same. Visually interesting, but emotionally and thematically bankrupt. I know this is more of an "art" board, but you need more for a film than just good visuals. Zack Snyder might be a great artist, but he can't write his way out of a wet paper sack. (I'm looking at you, Sucker Punch) And he hasn't always made the best choices when he lets someone else write for him.
Bottom line, Warner Brothers needs their own over-arching "editor" to keep track of their cinematic "universe." At least Suicide Squad seems like it might be interesting.
I was reading somehwere that Ben afleck was basically sitting down and re-writing parts of the script to "fix" it, and he is a pretty damn good writer/storyteller, so there might be hope for a bit more of an emotional impact. I would be super stoked if Ben Afleck ends up directing the next solo batman film, say what you will about his acting but his writing and directing skills are great.

That one trailer with doomsday ruined it for me, way to amp up the fight between superman and batman to reveal the plot as to why they come together in the end!

I also think he's going to go off the deep end, like beat Superman to a pulp, take him in as a prisoner and torture him. I mean, why would he let him go? I mean they\re obviously not going to kill Superman, and this version of Bruce Wayne clearly doesn't trust him.
