That being said, it really sucked when I was deployed to Iraq knowing that I was making just enough to keep my house note paid when the guy sitting right across the desk from me, doing the same job as me, doing half the work, was making a half a million a year as a contractor.
Iam impressed, really. Looks like there is some substance to the background and Kevin spacey is great. Honestly i rather enjoyed a couple of the CoD campagnes. Let's look atz this without the hate glasses on.
awesome trailer, hope it doesn't stop there single player wise, i mean they 've got kevin spacey, they better get it right, although i'm still worrying.
as to the engine, looks like they haven't done any major overhauls or updates? (it's good enough for a Xbone though)
Looks like a bunch of awesome new tech for this installment. Trailer killed it for me, I might finally pick up a CoD game (not a Hater, just usually end up having to pass). Future style weapons and machines, PMC's, and Kevin Spacey. Seriously, looks like this one is going to be quite the single player campaign!
Great trailer with a nice pace...of course it's all very formula now, but still very cool. Besides Spacey, the borrowing of ideas from films, other games and current high end military technology blended together pretty well.
Perhaps we are pre-programmed though to accept what we see in these games now.
During the Kevin Spacey's voice over I couldn't shake the image of Hopper talking to the ants in A Bug's Life.
I dig the whole idea of this one. I'm a bit curious to see how some of the future tech plays out with multiplayer. Running up walls could either be really cool or really annoying.
Sean, you guys have fucking rocked it. Super proud to have worked on the team, even if it was for a short time. Can't wait to see what you've worked on when the game comes out.
looks interesting, if the gameplay of the campaign and mp is the same I will probably pass, I was excited a bit for ghosts but it was the same ol shooting gallery stuff and mp was just run around and shoot everyone.
I like the future tech and it kinda reminds me of elysium on some of the armor/mech stuff. which is great.
watching that trailer I have mixed feelings, Its like COD has become so huge, that because of the sucess of house of cards, they just decided to plop spacey in there. not saying its a bad, thing, he plays an awesome badguy, but my first reaction was ....ohh house of cards is big, i guess they wanted to capture some of that momentum. that and some stuff reminded me of titanfall a bit but then again BOII was future stuff as well.
I'm hopeful its gonna be awesome, the art looks fantastic as usual. I really hope they calm down the over the top everything is blowing up and im sliding through rubble not getting killed scenes but I doubt it. Nice work from everyone at sledgehammer, Ill probbaly be pickin this one up if it turns out great.
Nice, thanks Pior. Art and story look to be a nice change of pace. Recently finished House of Cards and damn does Spacey play this type of character well. This is looking pretty damn cool. Congrats to anyone who worked on it, looking forward to seeing what comes next!
I gotta say im actually very surprised at how positive the feedback has been. its expected for call of duty to be hated on, but it seems like the overall reaction from people is that they're "cautiously optimistic." Understandably so but i assure you guys we've worked our asses off to make this the greatest call of duty ever (and we're still working!!) and im really glad its starting to change some people's minds about the franchise.
Looks great, I really hope it delivers this time unlike Ghosts. There is simply no excuse for how bad Ghosts is on the PC, it's a shame too because so much effort was put into the game and if it wasn't for the tons of technical problems, the game would be amazing.
I can say the new push for a longer dev cycle is a HUGE relief for people working on it.
Prior games were made so quickly.
If Sledgehammer wasn't shipping this fall we would have to. Which means that we finished DLC for Black Ops 2 last August/September and would have to have a full game done in a year to ship on schedule.
So that REALLY helps.
Super excited to play with the new toys you guys make and get my COD fix for the year.
this is my first time having work broadcast on such a large platform. exciting
i've met a lot of talented artists on this project and i'm glad that our work comes through so well in the trailer. more than a few of us are posters on PC, i think.
I do have to say this is the first cod that actually got me excited. Looks fun! And very shiny and nice!

People can say what they like about ripping off Elysium and whatnot - as they have relentlessly done over facebook - but this looks like the first ever CoD I am considering buying.. That's saying something tbh.
May we now be in the great and glorious age of jet-bikes in FPS games
I await my judgement until I see what new tricks and innovations this one pulls. Because since Modern Warfare (the 4th COD). I haven't seen 1 COD that has me forking over $60.00.*shrug*

Huh.
But I like the art!!
Also, if those are Xbone visuals.. can't wait to see PC ultra.
+1
Looks very good.
But geez, another cod ? Pass.

I am pretty sure they did ... Exposure control alone looks a lot better than in any previous CoD.
It generates hundreds of millions of dollars every year. The COD will continue until sales degrade.
This one looks interesting though. I like the future-tech equipment and Kevin Spacey is a great bad guy ... I'll give this one a go!
Well, don't mind me. I will pass any FPS that will be released over next 4 years.
But if next cod would be TPS. Man. I would be first in line to buy it
Not sure why everyone is always interested in the engine stuff for CoD games...
But yeah, first time I've been interested in a CoD game for ages!
Can't wait to play it!
Perhaps we are pre-programmed though to accept what we see in these games now.

I'll definitely pick this up though!
