This site has a really slick interface. I liike http://www.artstation.com/artist/Bonebrew22
If you need Invites PM me, but at this point I think the ratio of people needing invites to people WITH invites has steamrolled.
Is it only me having problems with the site?
When click on an image, it opens big version of the image in the same tab, but when I close it, it returns me to the top of the page, forcing me to scroll to the bottom every single time I click on an image.
When I middle click on an image - it doesn't open it in a new tab, which makes navigation even worse.
This is easy to use and fast
I like Artstation even if there are a few bugs http://robeomega.artstation.com/
Only turned 16 years old so my work may not be the best :P
I think polycount people jumping on this site has been a good thing. With CGHUB it always felt like 3d and especially video game art was valued below concept paintings.

Definitely. That's probably the biggest reason I never got into. Looking forward to seeing how this develops.
Is there a way to look at the projects you've liked?
literally was going though liking stuff I wanted to look at again, thinking it was being stored somewhere.

I totally agree. I never saw game environments on CGHUB's front page, and I've already seen a few awesome ones so far. We'll see if that continues as time goes on.

Ha! noticed this as well. Right now it's pretty much useless.
Jesus. I have no invites, I sent them all. There are countless people offering them. I am going to do a very unflattering portrait of the next person to pm me asking for one.

could edit your first post naming those giving out invites I think thats all some people are reading.
Why do all these sites only have accounts focused around the artists?
If we are making these places in order to get our work out there, i think we have to realize that our audiences shouldn't be just other artists. I think that is largely what my problem is with these places.
Why don't we have fan accounts, giving them the ability to comment, favorite and give them features without the expectation that they will post work.
I mean look at deviant-art. I think if you ran the numbers the majority of users probably aren't professional artists, they are ametuers that rarely post, or non artists who just want to make a favorite gallery. This is supported via the print system and other services.
The same goes for youtube.
I want to be able to make a project and when i upload a new work link it to that, but it shows up in my fans email because they subscribed to the project.
@Muzz : You really want to see Artstation become another DeviantArt? With all of the amateur art on their?
Or maybe I am misunderstanding and you are just saying that a non art person should be able to leave comments on work.
Either way my feeling is that the Art should speak for itself. No amount of Likes, Favorites, Llamas or comments ever changed the quality of the art, it only inflated the ego of the artist and attracted trolls.
What an artist really wants is more exposure by sharing. Hence having art pinned to Pinterest or any of the other social media sites, heck I believe every serious artist should have a FB page just for the types of feedback i mentioned earlier in this comment.

I don't think you are wrong, but theres nothing wrong with some improvements, like following and followers transparency would be nice.
Deviant art is exactly the reason why i bring this up. They are the ONLY dedicated art service that caters as much to the needs of fans as it does artists. Why do you think it is still hands down the largest art community in the world?

What about the thousands of artists that have had successful careers via the exposure they get from their fan-bases. These people are so famous they can go to pretty much any comic convention and people will know their work.
What i want is a more professional alternative to deviant-art when it comes to connecting to an audience because currently there is tumblr, facebook or deviant art.
And fuck the lamas. That being said, people only tend to become fans if your work does speak for itself.
So after checking it out, I decided to join ArtStation as well. Thanks for suggesting the site.
I've just started posting work but here's my link http://www.artstation.com/artist/jzak
Well muzz I would say a.) because deviant art already exists and b.) fans do not get you jobs. Other artist who know their shit get you jobs. Hiring personnel who you link to your portfolio get you jobs, and recruiters searching though specialist cg portfolios get you jobs.
Upping the level of noise in my opinion is a bad thing. Da already exists, if I wanted a super loud community I'd go there. AS caters to a smaller more cg focused demographic, and that makes it a much cleaner experience, which I prefer.
It, like cghub, will never be a place to get commissions or small fan-art freelance gigs, but lots of artists don't want those, and for 3d it's not particular practical anyways. For those that do, go to DA.
I was just thinking ( I know...dangerous), I could see ArtStation having a Bookmarking or Favorites Tab, that would allow you to drag the icon (and attached name/link) to a holding area.
That way you would have a visual reference of the model that brought you to that artist's page in the first place.
Deviantart is also infested with art thieves, and apparently, the admins won't do a damn thing to help you if your art is stolen and re-uploaded by another user, claiming it's theirs.
I've also seen one example where the Admins (or one in this case) can get really abusive and un-professional.
Though i do agree, Artstation needs some way of tracking art you've faved/liked.

So, they don't have forum, and they don't reply via Facebook. Is this 1-way communication ?
I also have invites. PM me if you want one.

I may create a new batch of 3D as I have been mainly doing 2D lately.
