I'll be going as GA, I don't care about the other stuff, just looking to have a good time with other workshop artist. We'll have our own workshop after party! Not sure about lodging yet.
Anyone got suggestions for places to stay? Last year I stayed at the hotel international. Not too bad, but there were a lot of homeless in that area, and I saw a guy get the absolute shit kicked out of him just around the corner. Lots of blood.
I'm wondering where people are staying nearby as well. I could use a roommate, but I'm a girl so I'm probably out of luck on that one. PM me if you also happen to be one and in need of one, haha.

I managed to get myself a GA ticket too, it seems like that's where all the Workshop guys will be anyway so even though they may not be the best seats they will be the best seats. Also I'm sure we'll be spending plenty of time in the Workshop area anyway! Can't wait to see how they plan on setting it up.
Ah well, I'm just gonna have to console myself by spamming the workshop with items whilst you guys are all busy having fun :P

there is a possible good information on reddit, maybe people will not be able to transfer the tickets or will have some work to do, so MAYBE there will be some tickets selling again on the ticketmasters (because you can re-sell your ticket for the same price)
Bumping to say that I've been re-organizing the doc based on what you guys have been saying. Been putting the people who have tickets at the top, so if you are looking at splitting a hotel potentially, you know who to talk to. If you are still looking for some tickets, I've updated the order and put you guys right below so that hypothetically more people will see your need! Hope it helps

I like the T-shirt, except for the huge polycount logo, honestly (only if you guys are trying to make it THE SHIRT for workshop artists like was suggested last year). It definitely got confusing for people to not have any easy identification, but a big ol' polycount logo is probably just going to confuse more people, especially since not all the workshop artists really use this site.
If we were serious about making a bunch of these, I'll just throw out my opinion that a combination between the front of Popcorn's and the name on it like Spudnick's feels like an actual awesome idea.
Or instead of a name on the shirt, it would be super nice if Valve could give us a pink/different colored badge again this year, something that designates the worskhop guys specifically. That would be super helpful, too.

^ Gah, that's super lame of people. Workshop badges from Valve would be sweet though, especially with the larger crowd of workshoppers and bigger dedicated Workshop area this year. With a big open area, something to identify artists easily would be pretty useful! We could send them the attendance sheet in the first post after everyone's gotten a chance to finalize their statuses. That way they'd have a list of who's attending and can perhaps prepare special badges for us that we'd pick up at the workshop area sign-in.
So, when's everybody going/leaving? I'm looking to book flights tomorrow and I'm debating going a day early and staying a bit longer, depending on if there's anybody else.
Oh, and hotel wise, I'd be down to share a room if somebody wants to.
