I want to, if I generate enough cash from my workshop! It's hard to reach the land of USA from Malaysia, but let's see if "When there's a will, there's a way" concept will work my amazing workshop artists...
Just to let everyone know, like last year, I plan on buying as many tickets as I can, so if anyone has a hard time getting their hands on one let me know and hopefully we can make something work. I'd like to get as many workshoppers there as possible!
All this assuming I can even get one. I happen to get lucky and snaged three last year, so we'll see!
Last year Helenek was amazing! He got 2 tickets and gave one to me =]
How do ticket sales work for TI4? All I remember from last year is that they sold out in a couple of minutes. Is there a different way of buying them instead of just waiting for them to come on the dota2 store? I'm not really worried about money but I don't know if I will be able to get a ticket.

We'll just have to wait and find out how they sell them. However, I wouldn't be too worried about not getting a ticket if you're a workshop person. Valve are cool, they won't keep you out of TI4 over something like getting a ticket.

And someone can lend you a pass for the vip area in the end =]
I'm really looking forward to this. Last year watching many of you through the cams setup in the artist area... I vowed I'd be there this year.
Can't wait to meet everyone!
This is gonna be awesome. Be cool to finally put a face to a lot of the fellow work shoppers out there! Calyx and I will be in the area, just need to get a ticket Fingers crossed.
I mean, if Valve gives every Workshop artist a ticket AND a tour of the studio with the chance to meet Gaben…..it would turn my maybe into a 'HELL YES"

Oh come on, who would refuse a fantastic offer like this! It's like a grand tour to a majestic royal palace :O
unless valve wants to give us workshoppers some upgrades I guess I'll just get a GA ticket. Really looking forward to seeing Key arena, curious to see how the 'feel' of TI will be this time.
Tickets will be sold through Ticketmaster beginning this Friday April 4th at 3PM PDT
Prepare your money guys. I will try to buy one and one for someone else mb. And the question, which one will be better, for 500$ or it's not worth it?
Tickets will be sold through Ticketmaster beginning this Friday April 4th at 3PM PDT, so check back later for more information.
As a possibility the tickets will be sold in batches. An increase in crowd size seems to warrant being more careful with the ticket sales than was the fiasco last year. Could be wrong though.
Worst case we can all GA, then make our own fun. Band together and get access to cool stuff somehow.
Either way I'm just stoked we have a date and that we have a tourney.
How cool would it be if valve has an open workshop area? That way any work shopper can sign in and give autographs (digital and hardcopy), meet fans and do work.
That would honestly be radical, just for the chance to hang out with all the other workshoppers and be realized as "a group of devoted people who make content for this great game."

I can totally understand why it was done the way it was last year given the size of the hall, but seeing how we're in a stadium this year I see no reason something like this couldn't be done.

this is a fantastic idea. Just have a section called the 'workshop', with a dozen open PCs perhaps or tables for those that bring laptops, have people sign in as you say, and then fans can just come and chill, ask questions, watch art get made, etc. Great idea.

Let's just lay some duct tape on the ground outside and do it under umbrellas.

This would be great, having a official well put together space would go along way towards legitimizing much of the work we do.
Q. I’m a Workshop Contributor, will there be a place for me at the International?
This year we’ll be setting aside a larger space for Contributors to meet fans, work together, and show off their creations. If you’re interested in participating, we’ll have a signup space for you soon. In the meantime, make sure you purchase your ticket when they go on sale on Friday.
Can't wait to brush off this negativity that's been brewing as of late and just chill and hang with everyone. Hopefully we can set some time to have a meeting with Valve like we did last year too.
sounds great, exactly how it should be. I was kinda hoping they would have a secondary avenue for us to secure tickets, but this year should hopefully be nowhere near as bad as acquiring a ticket as last time. Super pumped to see and hang out with everyone! Workshop P-A-R-T-WHY? BECAUSE WE GOTTA
That's good news but I still don't know what ticket to buy. I don't care about floor seats or player meet and greets but do care about the after party. Although if there's going to be so many more people at TI4, getting into the afterparty probably won't be as important.

We don't want it filled up with a bunch of no's now do we

Well, my chances on going to TI4 are pretty slim now, since the tickets are going on sale so soon and the even is not so far ):
This has to be their april fools, cause this is a joke.

Bigger Venue = Bigger Costs = Bigger Ticket Sales.
$100 bucks is alot, but compared to $500, we can just save the extra 4 and party in the street.

It sounds constructive, fun, and really awesome!
If only we knew someone at valve.
EMAIL ROBINNNN!
